Hello everyone,

is there any way to restore a VMware VM on Red Hat virtualization or Proxmox? It's probably not natively supported, but does anyone have any experience with it?

Thanks a lot!

Conversion by Commvault is not support for VMware VMs to both RHEV and Proxmox (it uses KVM under the hood)> You might be able to do something after performing a restore of the VM to a hypervisor and script a conversion action using for example a project like: https://www.project-open.com/en/howto-convert-vmware-esxi-to-kvm
