We need to upgrade commserver sql from 2008 r2 to 2012 r2

Hi,

We are planning to upgrade  commserve os from windows server STD 2008 R2 to Windows server STD 2012 R2., we need a clarity on below

how many cores we shall allocate in new server for Windows Os and SQL server
existing infra allocated with windows 2008 R2 std with SQL 2008 R2 Ent  edition ( Vcpu 12 and RAM 32 GB )

please get back to us with recommendation.

What Feature Release of Commvault Software are you planning to install on the new server here?

For FR24 and above we need Windows Server 2016 or Higher, Refer to the below note:
