We have a customer that is asking about backing up NetIQ eDirectory, and if it is supported by Commvault.

 

It seems as though it is, leveraging the OES File System Agent:

Can you confirm this is the case? Also, the customer is asking if there is any documentation that explicitly describes support for NetIQ eDirectory, and on how to specifically configure backups and restores for it. We cannot seem to find any documentation on this. Would you be able to provide any info?

Good afternoon.  We do not have specific documentation describing support for NetIQ eDirectory.  The OES File System agent is the workaround to the lack of an agent.
