As cyber threats evolve and become more sophisticated, securing Active Directory should be a top priority for every organization. AD holds the keys to an organization's infrastructure. Misconfigurations, user errors, and dormant accounts can be problematic. It’s also becoming a popular vector for ransomware attacks, as bad actors who penetrate AD can elevate privileges and steal, corrupt, or deny access to critical applications and their data. This allows cybercriminals to silently traverse infrastructure, workstations, and applications to establish their foothold in a centralized location to control business assets.

I have been waiting for this solution for a while. AD backups have been mislabeled as “protected” for as long as I have been a customer. AD backup plans will only grab the objects , and even full system state were not supported by MS as a domain recovery option. Seeing this completed and in a feature release hopefully ASAP is music to my ears.

Thanks @Matthew M. Magbee and @nicky for the feedback. And yes please feel free to share on LinkedIn!
