Are there any issues manually deleting older versions of VDDK from the Base\VMWARE folder?

Our Access Nodes are being pinged for multiple libcurl and sqlite3 vulnerabilities on account of having 11 different VDDK versions.

Confirmed with Support that older versions of VDDK that are no longer required can be manually deleted after stopping the Commvault services.

Best practice is to take a copy beforehand to allow quick restoration, if required.

And a follow up question:

Are there any issues manually deleting VDDK from the Base\VMWARE folder where the Access Node will not be used to protect / recover VMware workloads?
