I understand that recently compliance lock is available for disk whereas originally it was for S3 specifically. While I don’t see the option to enable it via Command Center, in the console tape copy properties have the Compliance Lock box to check. So my question is - enabling this on tape copies is or isn’t supported?

Yes it is supported to enable Compliance Lock for tape copies. Compliance Lock is a virtual lock which will keep y ou from deleting jobs or adjusting retention for that copy.
