Java console login - ad account locked after one failed attempt

Hello,

We have an issue when authenticating java console/CC via AD login (no SSO).

After only one failed attempt the account is getting locked. In AD it is set that account get locked after 5 failed attempts.

I'm under the impression that this behaviour started after we enabled MFA.

Any idea?

Commvault support provided a fix related to this that it was included in a maintenance release already (11.36.65).
In our case it was an issue because multiple proxies were used, thus generating multiple bind attempts.

Check if the below additional settings is added under Commserv client properties, if its added kindly increase threshold

FailedLoginAttemptLimit it is set to 6.

AD lock is set to 5.
