i would like to ask regarding Nutanix AHV quiesce Problems.
did we need extra firewall ports from the vm guest tools outside. So the vsa proxy need TCP Port 9440 to running backups. For quiesce the guest tools is there any more firewall port needed ?

No additional firewall ports are required for quiescing as that is part of snapshot creation.
When AHV requests the snapshot of the VM it will see the quiesce request and use integration tools to communicate with the guest OS to handle the quiesce operation. The snapshot will then run against the quiesced OS and Commvault will proceed with a backup of the quiesced volumes.
In short, quiescing is all between the AHV and the guest OS, no networking is required.
