Hello,

We are creating multiple reports in command center using the backup summary report, but seem to have an issue where only the user who created the report can see the report with the filters.

How can we configure these to allow other admins to be able to see, adjust and edit these?

Hi @Saleh,

I believe you are describing custom views for the backup summary reports? Those are only available for the user that created the custom view.

When you create a custom view in a report, only you can see the custom view as an option in the list at the top of the report.

Creating a Custom View in a Report

If you want to create shareable custom backup summary reports, you need to edit the report. Be aware that a custom report can only be created via the web console which is not available by default anymore as it is being deprecated.

You also want to clone the backup job summary report so you can edit the cloned report and keep a default backup job summary report because the edited report may break after upgrades.

  • It is recommended not to edit any built-in report to avoid errors or missing data when you upgrade your CommCell environment.
  • The Reports Builder feature is not available by default. It can be accessed only after installing the add-on Web Console package, which is available upon request. Once the Web Console package is installed, the Add report option becomes available in the Command Center.
