Hello!

I know we can run scripts to validate applications (when using Application Validations for VMware VMs).

Commvault has a few ready to use scripts (Oracle, SQL Server, MS Defender).

Has anyone customized this MS Defender script to use another AV engine (like ESET, Symantec, Kaspersky, Trend Micro)?

I heard that Veeam has a feature called Surebackup which kind of comes ready to use (checkbox) a few AVs instead of having to create custom scripts.

Regards,

Pedro

Hi,

Apart from documented SQL, Oracle, and MS defender scripts, we don’t have default scripts for other AVs. As you are aware build and use own scripts in custom scripts validation. May be CCR required here to add any new scripts i think.
