Hi, In my environment We configured a synthetic full backup schedule on weekdays but past one week we observed that synthetic backups are running very slow and it’s getting single digit oh through put. For this If we planed a more Media servers is it increase performance. currently we are the backups with 2 media serves.
Note: We are not using commvault level dedup, Using storage level dedup

We need to review the logs to check on the bottleneck on the performance.
As you would have already known that synthetic full backup runs completely on the media agent using its resources.
Raise a support case with logs to check this further.
