Commvault logs max retention, could excessive logging create performance issues?

I was curious if keeping logging of access to the commvault console and file access for security would result in any performance degradation or at what point would this data be trimmed ? if kept indefinitely.Ā

Hi E51,

Could you please confirm, if you are referring to increasing the Debug level on the Commvault logs or in the Audit Parameters inorder ro capture the events for the Audit Purpose. All userĀ login access details inĀ Java Gui, will be captured in the Audit Trail Report with the below retention set by defaultĀ for different playback levels. Log in information will be retained for 120 days by default, as it falls under Low Playback level.
