Hi all,

I’ve been starting to look at Data Insights, and Sensitive Data Governance and went to create a test project to try it out and got the following error:

Error creating EDiscoveryUser.Exception:User password doesn't follow minimum complexity requirements

Is that complexity requirement coming from CV itself?

Is it looking at our domain requirements?

Is this user local to CV or a domain user?

Is it possible to assign a user object?

Just looking to find out more about what it’s doing at this stage, thanks.

Hey @GordA

There is a hotfix (which you may already have) and an additional setting to resolve this issue, but the setting is not public and would require a support case apply.

Hi thanks , i have a support case for this. Case 241104-860. If you are a CV employee, could I ask you to mention that to the case owner? I have a meeting with our ESP team shortly so I will also mention it to them.

Thanks

G.

What service pack are you running?

Hi, the issue was that you need to create a new password for advanced setting sGDPRDDummyUserPassword. create it if you don’t have it.

Check with support first to see if that will work for you.

Any time you go to create a new plan, this may pop up again and you need to re-enter the pw in Advanced Settings and that should work.

We were on 11.32.xx but are now on 11.36.55
