There are a few companies now offering Microsoft 365 tenant configuration backups for disaster recovery. (not individual applications, the tenant configuration itself)
There is the Microsoft365DSC Powershell module that can be used to do this. Wondering if Commvault has a plan to include this? Would be nice to integrate it into Commvault.

The internal team wont be able to advise any ETA or Guarantee on a new feature being added but i have flagged your question with our product owner team.
I will keep you posted if they give me any update that i can share with you around if this feature is or is not on the road map at all.

This is something we are evaluating and is on the roadmap ( assuming we are able to recreate the configuration using API/PowerShell)
