Upgrade from Commvault 11.24 (with SQL 2014, Win Server 2016) to 11.36

Currently I am on Commvault version 11.24 with SQL Server 2014 and Windows Servers 2016.

Will there be any issues with upgrading it to Commvault version 11.36 which is the latest released in June 2024? Will the SQL be upgraded automatically as part of the upgrade?

There shouldn’t be any issues upgrading directly from 11.24 to 11.36 (link).

If you’re wanting to upgrade to SQL Server 2022, it is a manual process (link).

I would generally recommend going through the CommServe Hardware Refresh process rather than upgrading SQL in place, though (link).
