Hello,

we have an issue with DDB verification job it shows the below error

2964  22d0  09/08 11:02:46 676720 Verification failed with error [751][Library [HQ_DB_ExaLibrary], MediaAgent [AUBEGHQBKPEXGM3], Drive Pool [], MountPath[\\ip address\HQ_DB1\3DFVM3_09.04.2024_13.51]: Cannot impersonate user. User credentials provided for disk mount path access may be incorrect. Advice: If the issue persists, please upload log files from CommServe, MediaAgent and Client and contact your vendor's support hotline with the job ID of the failed job.].

the scenario is that we have 3 media agents with shared mount paths between them due exagrid best practices

and im sure the user account is correct

Hi Wasim,

Thanks for sharing your experience with me, i have resolved the issue by granting commvault log file full access by “everyone” as a temp solution.

Hi @Mohamed Nabil,

-Make sure the Account being leveraged here can access the mount path directory from the Media Agent in the OS. An easy test would be to Map a network drive to the Mount path directory, check the box to Connect using different Credentials and specify the same credentials here as you are using in Commvault,

-If this is successful in the OS, then re-enter the credentials under the Share Mount Path -> Edit dialog or in the Credential Vault if you are using saved credentials- https://documentation.commvault.com/v11/expert/101978_updating_account_information_for_credential_in_credential_vault.html

Regards,

Wasim

Hey @Mohamed Nabil which log file are you talking about?  I am having trouble with DDB verifications as well with ExaGrid.  It makes everything go haywire.  Also, are you limiting the number of readers/streams to each library?  Thanks!
