Hello,

If a VM is being backed-up ( VSA backup ) from 2 different backup-sets using the same storage pool, is there any impact on the license consumed by this VM ? will there be a double ‘charge’ for it - per Front-End ( capacity license ) ?

No, if you are using Commcell Console run a Job Summary report for the 2 subclients and see what the application size is. If using Command Center, run the Backup Job Summary report and look for the same information.

    @TNO ,

    Being you are talking about Capacity, yes there could be the chance that you are seeing it twice; To confirm you would need to check the subclient that is backing up the VM and see what is recorded for it Front End. I would expect you to see the size of the VM counted by each subclient.
