We want to run two backup jobs on a same VMgroup, using two different server plans which are configured to store backups on two different Object stores.

We are also using same media agent; will it cause any issues?

How do you plan to run 1 VM Group against 2 Plans?

We have 2 different VM Group for same set of VM.

I imagine Full jobs will work fine, but Incr jobs will be an issue.  VMware is not going to be tracking changes (CBT) separately for the 2 VM Groups.  I have not seen this done before, so I don’t know if the Incr jobs will have failures or if they’ll just give you incomplete data.

If you want the data in 2 different storage locations, why not just Aux Copy?

Will Aux copy solve our problem?
Just so that you know both targets are cloud storage.

What is the problem you are trying to solve?  Have backups going to 2 different libraries?  If so, that’s the exact purpose of setting up Aux Copies.
