I have not, and i have tons of automation based on alerts, so if they broke my environment would stop backing up (i use it for power on/power off)… you dont see the logging? what does alerts.log show?

So i was getting 404 in my lab for some reason on the searchsvc endpoint. I look at my prior calls and my web_service_url for this lab box was:web_service_url = "https://commserve.vcloud.lab/commandcenter/” After changing the URL I did an init and apply and everything was working (I swapped to a locally created account too, you mirror your “terraform” account)

Thanks very much for your response, Scott. My CommCell is configured as a standalone backup server that I've only ever interacted with via the Java console. I don't have the Command Center configured as I have no intention of configuring and hardening a web server just to be able to connect to the CommCell in a browser. Are there actually core configuration settings that can be accessed in Command Center but not the CommCell Console? What if we provided a hardening script?
no problems with mixed, in fact its beneficial for to have both as you can use the windows MAs to fill many of the gaps of linux CS.
