Generation of reports tend to fail. 11.24.29
Hi and best wishes to you ! This may not be related to it at all, or not, I do not know, but as most of us, we upgraded in late december our versions, and on my side I updated up to v11.24.29. I was at v11.24.23 before the log4j panic Then I went on an end-of-year well awarded vacation. But coming back, I have noticed that now I have a lot of automatically generated reports failing. Common point was they were scheduled to be ran at the same time. So I reviewed them, spanned other the time to avoid the Commserve’s CPU and DB crush. It went a bit better, but still failed.So I dug deeper, and noticed some reports got stuck in the job queue. Looking at the webconsole.log file, here’s what I could find : 1014 ERROR ExportHandler:runAndGetPhantomJSStatus:1004 - Failed to run PhantomJS: java.lang.RuntimeException: phantom: Process Timed out after 45 minutes at commvault.web.reports.ReportsUtil.runProcess(ReportsUtil.java:1185) at commvault.web.reports.ExportHandler.runAndGetPhantomJ
Commserve Test Failover failed
Hello All,Commserve test failover was initiated and i have seen the final sync was successful but still the test failover was a failure with the below errors in the logsFailed to get SQL auth type from registry. Error I found sqladmin_cv is being utilized to authenticate the same is failing. Hence do we need to reset the password and match the PACCESS on active CS and DR? or do we have any workaround or fix?Regards,Ananth
Do we need to provide “commcellinfo.xml” file in order to get & apply additional license capacity? Also, Will new license application affect ongoing backups?
We are going to increase commvault license capacity for limited period of time. We have permanent license of total 18 TB capacity out of which 4.5 TB is free. Expected new data backup size is approx. 30 TB.1.Do we need to provide “commcellinfo.xml” file in order to get & apply additional license capacity?2.Will new license application affect ongoing backups?3.How can we get additional capacity for evaluation period, so that original license remain on the environment? Upgrade client agent silently

Scheduled restore of o365 data
Is there a way to schedule an out of place restore (to disk) of a specific o365 teams-folder? For DR-preperation we need a weekly copy of this folder inhouse...In commcell console we have the posibility to save restore jobs as xml-files, and start a restore in task scheduler. But for the o365 jobs i can't find a similar possibility in the webgui.
Azure Portal Dashboard for Commvault
I am running Multiple Commvault Servers and storage agents in Azure, I have created several dashboards to monitor these VM’s but it’s at the VM level rather than the Commvault application level. Has anyone created an Azure Dashboard that monitors Commvault at the application level. I do realize that this can be done from the Commvault Dashboard but it would be useful for support to have a dashboard within azure that can highlight performance issues.
Determine agent version from client
Hi,I’m checking some way to collect the version of the installed agents in a win/linux client running some command on the client itself.So far I couldn’t find any way to poll that information from the client itself (while it’s extremely easy to do it from commcell console) but I’m sure there must be at least a configuration file/registry key reporting the exact version of every agent installed in a client, but I can’t find out which one. Do you know if that’s possible?Thanks,Alessandro.
SQL query to get the client, subclient, SP, retention
Hello team, Customer runs a commcell like following. Client - cvltclnt Subclient - cvltclnt_file_backup Storage Policy (Disk) - SamsungDedupe (retention 10days, Full) - SamsungDedupe_Inc (retention 5days, Incremental) Customer is using this option “Incremental Storage Policy” for incremental backup on Storage Policy. And they want to get this configuration info using SQL query.What table/view should customer do a query to get this information? Restore spool file using IBM i File System Agent
We are using the IBM i File System Agent to backup our IBM partitions. We want to test restoring a spool file and can’t find CommVault documentation on how to do this. Is anyone using the IBM i File System Agent and/or have information on how to restore a spool file? Thank you,Jennifer

Hello,Could someone please provide the proper steps to decommission the Windows media agents and asssociated DDB, and Disk Libraries? We have migrated to hyperscale and the legacy environment needs to shutdown. It is just running DDB backups and Index backups.
mongo db client removal
We never backed up the client with MongoDB and want to remove it from the client and just leave the File System only.Question, if I remove the MongoDB software, will it prompt me to uninstall the Media Agent, Storage Accelerator and IntelliSnap or do I have to remove them one by one ? cannot backup oracle client
i trying to backup oracle client and working fine once after that got error as in attached log to be noted :- all network connections between CS,MA,client are fine - service account and permissions are set as required - i changed cvd port because there are services working on same port but still having error
