Stagger jobs in schedule policy

Quick question. I understand the longest time per backup task is 10 seconds. Is there someway to get around that limitation?If no, that’s ok. I’ll just break out clients into separate schedule policies.

readiness check failed , cvd log states system lacked sufficient buffer space

hi vaulters, we face 1 client with readiness check failed, when look into cvd log at the client, there are repetitive messages25260 5a6c 06/08 17:02:35 ### ERROR: CvFwClient::connectToGroupOfCS(): Couldn't connect to any of the CS interfaces (COMSERVER,COMSERVER)25260 5a6c 06/08 17:02:35 ### ERROR: CvFwClient::connect(): Unable to connect to COMSERVER:8400: 0x80072747:{CQiSocket::Connect(290)/W32.10055.(An operation on a socket could not be performed because the system lacked sufficient buffer space or because a queue was full. Centralize command center portal

We deployed 7 CommCell servers and got 7 Command center portal. Could Commvault provide centralize portal to manage all Command center URL?Our operation team want to access one portal, then they could click each Command center portal to finish these routine job.

Backup of NFS mount path from the Client

Hi, Is it possible to backup the NFS drive mounted from the Client. I tried to add mount path in the subclient properties under content tab. Then run the backup but its failed. If possible what is the proper way to backup the nfs mount path from the Client.

File Anomaly Alert not updating with new error codes

I get the same Events in JavaConsoles EventViewer, but the Alert Rules don’t include all those new IDs. Do Admins need to manually update those predefined Rules or should the Upgrade have done that?

Hi team, A customer is performing the aux copy using Azure BLOB Cool storage as a target.(Source storage for 1st copy is DAS and Target storage is Azure BLOB Cool storage)Can customer change the BLOB storage tier type to Hot without any issue? Thanks.

New Comcell Installation on Cluster - The installed Microsoft SQL Server instance is not of the required version.

We prepare a new Cluster Installation for HW Refresh and get this error:Error: The installed Microsoft SQL Server instance is not of the required version. Please upgrade/update the SQL Server to at least [SQL Server 2012 SP2] and try again   But we the installed the SQL from the Media Package 11.24.34 → SQL 2019 - 15.0.2000.5 2xWin 2019 with Pre-Installed SQL Cluster 2019Any Ideas?

commvault agent installation error

Hi,Can some one tell me the difference between: SKUName="Commvault Backup & Recovery For Virtual Machines, Per VM (10-Pack)" SKU="CV-BKRC-VM10-VOI"  and SKUName="Commvault Complete DP For Virtual Machines, Per VM (10-Pack)" SKU="CV-DR-VM10"I believe the Complete DP For VM does not require extra file- or application licenses if the VM has also such a license.KRDanny

qlogin issue

Hello I am having trouble logging in when running qlogin.The user logs in just fine on both console and command center.I get this error when trying: qlogin: Error 0x202: Failed to connect to QSDK ServerBefore I restartet Commvault services I got this error: qlogin error 0x70c failed to save token to a file Hope someone has the answer :) Thanks.

Replace Old Media Agent with New One with LUNs

Hello, Everyone. So i have this critical issue. I have a Media Agent with LUNs attached to it, used as Libraries with all Mount Paths configured. Now, the Media agent has crashed. I have provisioned a new Media and those LUNs can be seen locally the new Media agent. I want to Library to pick the name of the New Media agent over the old one that crashed. This is very urgent for me, please. The company is one of our major clients.

Is there a list of what Commvault products require java (and what version if java and commvault?)

I have a media agent (no jobs going to it) that’s also hosting the webserver/console.  I’ve been informed of 2 java installs on this server and am being asked if they can be removed.  There is no Java console installed, but there is an installed product “Commvault Contentstore” as well as MS SQL server things installed for 2008 → 2012, and a MongoDB.  I’m not sure if these were part of some older Commvault products, or just something else some admin installed for some reason.it appears there’s a running commvault related SQL Server agent (“SQLAgent$Commvault” windows service) as well as a running “MSSQL$COMMVAULT” Windows service, but I cannot see any MS SQL related things in the Java console attached to this media agent (as a clinet/subclient)… so what’s the database for?There’s also these running Windows services (and some others commvault related, but these stood out):GxTomcatInstance001 - the webserver I presume, though IIS is also running?GxMONGO(Instance001) - I have no idea what

Notes - Database transaction log restore.

Good day. I am busy testing Notes database and Transaction log backups & restores.I have scheduled a daily full and hourly log backups.Test restores from full backup work as expected, but the Transaction log restores do not restore any changes that occurred after the full backup. I did not select “Do not replay transaction logs” option.I have been reading through the Commvault documentation, but I am struggling to find detailed documentation around Notes DB transaction log restores.Any assistance would be appreciated.

How can I change End User URL?

Hi all,Our customer using Exchange Archive and they want to access archive mails from outside without VPN. Web Server working on CommServe and hostname is like commserve.local. They created DNS record like archive.domain.com and they opened 8403, 443 ports on firewall.I used this documents to change URL on CommServe; https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/4344_changing_web_console_url_for_commserve_01.htmlhttps://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/essential/112096_updating_web_console_url_for_commserve_computer_using_command_line_interface.htmlhttps://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/133401_using_virtual_name_for_web_service.html I can reach to web console and command center with archive.domain.com name but in the OWA, Quick look button still pointing the commserve.local. I checked Web Server URLs tab on CommServe Advanced settings, End User Url showing commserve.local.  I could not find any document for change the End User URL or I missed something. Can anybody help m

DNS restore active directory

Hello,  I want to know if I'm going to remove 1 dns zone how can I restore it via AD, should I check DC=domainDnsZones or DC=ForestDnsZone? And then full dns zone be restored? For example I want to remove RestoremePlease ( see attachment), how can I restore it via AD restore
