Hello, Did any one tried out the hyperscale x nodes on vmware Vcenter with VSAN /VxRail storage nodes as targetmy HCI have lot of compute and storage so though of this query is that can we virtualize hyperscale appliance/ref arch. CheersSrikanth

Hi, I’m trying to add 3 nodes to an existing Hyperscale X cluster ?It’s a brand new installation, the cluster is up and running in with the first 3 nodes.Now I’m trying to add 3 more nodes, do I need to create a block with “cvavahi.py...” on those 3 new nodes as well and after that I will have the options in the Command Center to add them all under the one already there  or ?Thank you, it’s the first time I’m adding nodes to and existing HyperScale X cluster and I don't find any documentation on this !

Is it possible to install the BoostFS library on a HyperScale X Media Agent, and if so is it supported?I’m looking to write a additional backup copy to storage outside of the appliance and hope I can do it in a deduplicated manner rather than having to send a full copy to the data domain.  The topic of BoostFS is discussed on https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11/article?p=9404.htm#o132281, but nothing specific to HyperScale X and BoostFS at https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11/article?p=128105.htm.Thanks

Hi, Concerning deploying the node of Hyperscale X Reference Architecture, is it possible to confgure Network Bonding for DPN and SPN to define multiple VLAN-tagged interfaces on a single 802.3ad trunk? Also, is it possible to use NetworkManager/nmtui? Thank you very much!

Hi guys,  I'm having a customer who is actually using Standard MA with Commvault to back up to copy 1 to disk (PureFlash with NVMe Drives), copy 2 (and other PureFlash) and a copy 3 to Tape around 350 TB per week to send to tapes (LTO7) 4 tape drives (weekly Full) at a sustain throughput of 700 GB/Hour per drive (4 drive in parallel). We are looking to replace both MA with two HyperScaleX clusters.  The questions are ! How we need to configure the HyperScaleX (reference architecture) to sustain the weekly tape creation of 350 TB per week with the same throughput knowing that we are going to use NearLine SAS in the HyperscaleX Cluster !  Or ca we use SSD for the Storage Pool drive in a HyperScaleX. 

Hi community,Are there any benchmarking numbers on time taken to rebuild a replaced Hyperscale X node. Could be based on TB/hr or full rebuild per size/model. N24 with 16TB drives are most interesting for me. /P
