A customer has almost 9000 mailboxes. What is the best way for me to back them up? To go by de default all mailboxes way works but at the same time it takes quite a while. I have configured 5 apps and 10 streams. Would we get to the finishline faster if we have the customer to greate different ad groups containing mailboxes from a to z ?

Hi All, this is more an wish to commvault and not a big problem :)  So let me try to explain the point: In 02.22 yo have an problem and open an support case the case is escalted to dev team and you get an diag patch. You are happy that after the instalaltion the backup or restore is running fine. The case is close and everthing is forgotten :) Than you update the envirmoemnt in 05.22 to the latest version and the diag patch was overwritten because it wasnt implemented in the new release. What happen you run into the same problem you open an support case and get an diag patch.  So my wish is that the installer check if an diag patch is installed and failed to update. Or give me an hint that there is an diag patch installed if you install now the update the diag patch is gone or in best case i get an message the diag patch will be repelace with hotfix update nummer 4567. One trigger could be good.  To you have an idear how to prevent updateing clients with diag patches ?

Dear Commvault team,would you please explain the below questions regarding the exchange mailbox policies:1.    What is the meaning of “Received Time Based Retention” is it based on msg receive/send time? Or is it based on the time of the job?2.    What is the Commvault behavior when we enable the quota and cleanup criteria together?

Other jobs for this backup copy run -however this subclient errors on backup copy. The DSM entries are correct in the array manager. The discovery completes - but the mapping to host fails.I have chosen other nodes in the hyperscale cluster- other vm hosts for the mount process- etc . Other jobs are setup with same config and it works. Not sure what the difference isBlow away and rebuild subclient?

Background:We added a new NAS storage array to CommVault, and marked the old ones mount points ‘Disabled for Write’. Good morning, please your valuable help.😊I have a computer with hyper-v (20 virtual machines), and also has databases (SQL server); this client must backup the virtual machines in hype-v, databases and file system, for these are 20 TB of information. I installed to this client the roles of mediaagent, SQL agent and also as hyper-v hypervisor. The incidence that is presented to me with the complex of this client is the transfer rate that is too low, since I have other clients with the same roles and they work perfectly.I would like to know if I should do something additional to improve the transfer rate, in addition to your advice on best practices for servers of this type.Thank you very much.🙏🏻

The data you have stored will get deleted after 30 days from the expiration. Hi All, we are using Access Node and MediaAgent (FREL) 2022E . The docu says: Automatic OS updates: Select this option to enable automatic OS updates.By default, automatic updates are applied daily for security updates. To modify the security level, perform the following steps after the File Recovery Enabler has been deployed: That was the reason why we are using 15 of these proxy in our wxrail enviroment.  The Update is failing because the FREL is behind an firewall.  I opend an Case 221121-292 to find out what we need but the awnser was….. For internet access, on FREL machine you can open port 80 - HTTP and 443 - HTTPSThan i asked for the urls and the awnser…..  Unfortunately, we won't be able to provide the exact URL's. I confirmed this with Tier 2 as well.
