the recommendation by tomcat to solve this issue to update the version to the last recommended release,just i need to ask if the update will effect on Commvault application or you have any concern and recommendation from your side.
I need the api that gives the deleted VMs list from the vCenter. As per the document:https://documentation.commvault.com/v11/essential/rest_api_get_virtual_machines.html I should get isDeleted in status info as a response but I didn’t see anything like that when I ran the Get VM api:[redacted]response:[redacted]test VM is already deleted. I need an api that can mention that the VM is deleted on vCenter. So I could go ahead and delete it from commvault.

Dear Support,We have a requirement to offload VMware backup processing to HyperScaleX server, we do not have SAN in the environment. The storage server presents the disk to ESXi hosts over the ISCSI method. Can we use the same disk presented to HyperScale X over ISCSI method and perform SAN mode backup? Not sure this is supported, if supported using which network label (Data Protection or CS Registration) the HyperScaleX can see the disks. Please help.

Does Commvault support or plan to add support for Multi-Streaming during Full VM Restore in VMware?For example, a VM with 4 ‘vmdk’ files can use 4 streams during restoration.We are running ver 11.24 and see that a single stream is used during the restore which slows restores down, especially for larger VMs.We could of course use Live VM recovery but that does not help if the VM is running any resource-heavy app.
As title implies, I am retiring a VM Server. Currently, this server gets backed up daily, and it kept on local disk storage for a period of 1 month. What is the correct prescribed method using the command center GUI to “stop” the daily backups, and then just have the data age off for the next month until there is no data left and I can delete the VM from the VM group backup. Do I simply change the “plan” the vm is affiliated with to “none”?

The storage policy remains the same for both the subclients and all the VMs have a recent Full available.The first backup job for the new subclient was set of type Incremental, may anybody help me understanding why it was converted to full? Hi,We are trying to select multiple VMs and taking backups of all those VMs on our S3 Compatible HCP Storage.We know that the snapshots get taken for the respective VMs and then pushed to the cloud library. Correct me if I may be wrong.Even though we have good amount of space in Datastore, it is not possible to take multiple VMs backup as it is sizing out the datastore. We even changed the check on datastore space.Is there any particular setting that can help achieve the backups of the VMs, lets say 10 in number, more effectively and successfully ?

Hello Commvault community,Ιn case it needs to be implemented GFS (Grandfather-Father-Son) for VMware / Azure VMs workloads, what is the preferred tier to use in Azure?I assume that hot tier is ideal for daily backups (with 7-14 days retention), but what about weekly backup jobs with 180 days+ retention ?Can hot tier combined with cool tier or must create a new cool/cold container (with new DDB) for these weekly backup jobs? Hi Guys, Anyone on commserve linux? Could you tell me if you are able to deploy any workflow? I am getting ‘Error connecting to workflow Engine on the console’...on cvd.log i see: “ Unable to connect to server: 0xECCC006F:{CQISocket::Connect(358)/ErrNo.111.(Connection Refused)}Nothing recent on the WorkflowEngine.log since the installation.Not sure if this is supported for linux commserve, though i do not see it explicitly provided in the limitations of commserve documentation.
