Hi teams, How to access to download Commvault_Linux_Media_11_25.tar ?regards

I was deployed FREL version CentOS Linux release 8.2.2004 to my VM lab to test prior to deploy it in our prod environment. The root password was predefined during the OVA deployment but upon login to i was not able to login successfully using my root password. Why is that happen? is there a default user that i can use to change the FREL root credential?

Hi there,One of our customers read @MFasulo FR23 blog, and has raised with us this part:Finally, Commvault is extending its unified management experience to include multi-CommCell environments, enabling the aggregation of jobs and events. It offers a single pane of glass view across multi-CommCell estates, increasing agility and reducing administrative cost. It also provides a foundation for new service models, including Backup as a Service (BaaS).This customer has a couple of commcells, but i’m wondering what this feature is excactly, is it GRC or multi-tenancy? I’ve been discussing it with others in the office and we’re not 100% sure.

I want to move my data from one mount point to other in a DDB setup...These mountpaths are from different storage.Basically we are decommissioning an old storage that was used to store Infinite retention backup so will have to move all those data to a new storage.Please suggest the best approach for this

We are using the IBM i File System Agent to backup our IBM partitions. We want to test restoring a spool file and can’t find CommVault documentation on how to do this.  Is anyone using the  IBM i File System Agent and/or have information on how to restore a spool file? Thank you,Jennifer

Hi All i got alert from File Activity Anomaly that large amount of file were deleted and modified.Also i wanted to know if suppose if there is any security changes granted by an admin or by a group policy to a file/s so will that be considered as a counter tick under modification.

Hi  I have download “Log4J affected servers” report. Downloaded file name is  Log4JAffectedServers.xml.I can not find any instruction to install or use the file. The only information I have “This report lists the servers that may potentially be impacted by Log4J vulnerability and the installation status of the corrective patches with log4j 2.16 version.” Is there anyone who knows?

I'm creating a lab with VMs set up exactly like the production environment.In the productive environment, we have version 11.18.3 of CommCell.This version has not been discontinued and is not available for download from the Commvault Store.How do I find this version? The idea is just to replicate the current configuration exactly in order to be able to migrate from the old version to a new version with more property, since I will have already performed the migration in the lab environment.

Hi! I’m trying to add S3 Compatible Storage as a Cloud Library, but I get error: 3292  1194  12/20 10:31:44 ### [cvd] CVRFAMZS3::SendRequest() - Error: Error = 440373292  1194  12/20 10:31:48 ### [cvd] CURL error, CURLcode= 60, SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK I already troubleshoot it and I was able to successfully add the storage as a Cloud Lib using “nCloudServerCertificateNameCheck” mentioned in another thread  (Thanks @Damian Andre ! ) The thing is that the provider has a valid certificate Issued by:CN = R3O = Let's EncryptC = USwith root cert:CN = ISRG Root X1O = Internet Security Research GroupC = USSo I am wondering if instead of ignoring all the possible certificates I could just add this one, valid certificate to Commvault so it trust this provider and allow me to configure DiskLib. Is this possible? Also not sure it that’s related since certificate administration is not my cup of tea, but curl-ca-bundle.crt is dated to FEB 2016 on this MA which is a fresh in

Hi Everyone, IHAC who is about to consider our product to develop the backup service portal using REST API.This customer is a Cloud Service Provider and wants to to integrate CVLT backup with their existing service.So they’re asking us several questions.  - Is there a dedicated internal team/person for REST API support service?    : paid or free? - For feature/function doesn’t have sample?    : CVLT provides lots of sample codes for use but what should we do if some feature/API doesn’t have a sample? - Technical support plan for REST API    : If customer encounters errors how can customer be supported?       (open a ticket as usual way or another?) And kindly let me know who can i reach out to about REST API relevant query.Thanks.

Found a client running future updates :-)Where is this version information pulled from, btw?   It is a client that went weird after a failed update to v11.24.29….   When retrying the update it complained about being unable to downgrade..  . Funny stuff…  Anyway, this is why there’s a “repair” option I guess. This worked….  Never seen this one before :-) Hope you all will have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year ! /Rubeck

Hi Team,While collecting logs, I want to upload it directly to Commvault over HTTPS. Which port is used for this, can we use a proxy? Where can I set it?  

We recently upgraded Exchange on prem and for a few reasons it is now residing on a ProxMox cluster with the iscsi luns mounted through Proxmox instead of windows for exchange.  This is all hosted on our netapp cluster.  I don’t think this configuration is supported for intellisnap or app aware snaps but i wanted to be sure i wasn’t missing something or maybe there is some way to leverage proxmox to get application consistent  snapshots?
