Someone deleted a few files within a Team that I need to restore. How can I do this?

I need to restore an entire Team in MS Teams and am unsure how to do it.

Hi all, I start on this community, so thanks about all help you can give me. Near 2 years ago, we make a mis configuration on our infrastucture.Result : We have datas on Tape, which have bad data retention date.When I modify the retention date of jobs, I have 2 different behaviors :When I increase retention date : COMMVAULT show the right date When I reduce retention date : COMMVAULT don’t make any changesWhy ?How can I expect that datas expire at the right date ? My COMMServe is in 11.24.21 Thanks in advance

Hello everyone,I’m backing up a MS SQL Server, and a DBA asked me to disable the maxtransfersize of the backups.Taking a look at the configurations of the Subclient I found the option to disable the log consistency check, and I checked the box as you can see in the screenshot below:My question is with this box checked, the maxtransfersize will be disabled too? Or do I need make anything else to disable it? Thanks, 

anyone give me a quick idiots guide to configuring a backup of an azure blob storage account from start to finish. I have an onsite commvault hyperscale configuration with 2 media agents in azure. I believe  i need to install the cloud apps software onto a host but should this be on one of the media agents in azure ? Tried following the guide and can follow bits of it but could do with a single list of steps do this then do that and so on ...

clbackup causing high cpu usage

I’ve used the subjected workflow some times and it’s working.However when I looked at it today it seems it was changed @ some point in time.The documentation isn’t corresponding to whats shown in the GUI.It seems that it’s not possible to target a specific cloud library any longer.Is it just on my installation this has changed, or anyone else seen this?Screenshots provided below.//Henke

We have CommVault Complete licensing and also Metallic Cloud Storage Service (MCSS) licensing. However, the Command Center dashboard lacks a widget for Metallic. Can someone share how to add a widget that would display the %used of a library? This would effectively show MCSS as a % of licensed use. The existing Current Capacity widget only shows the % of licensed Complete usage, not the % of storage used; the MCSS library falls into the latter category since MCSS is not a “Complete” accounting of backup potential, it is an actual % of backup used. From dashboard:From Storage>CloudSo it would be nice to see the cloud library as a pie chart, similar to the complete licensing in the Current Capacity widget. How do you make widgets and put them on the dashboard?

 Its been a while since I installed a Linux FSA on a client, my question is;I want to install the Linux FSA on a client but I dont want the client to have access to edit or change other user groups. Just want it to perform backups of the Linux client.Having said this what items should I uncheck in the Permission details

Hello, Is there any way to refresh media or consolidate without using a scratch tape?I have an appendable tape with lot of free space but not completely scratch tape.

How does this affect commvault licensing for Mailboxes?  For example (numbers purely made up for ease of explanation) if we have 500 user mailboxes and 500 teams and 500 Outlook Groups used as Distribution lists do we need 1500 mailboxe licenses or just 500 for each user accessing those resources?

Hi, A customer is running Exchange Online since several months back and after an update late March (currently 11.22.13) some mailboxes type group, started to appear in the backups. This seems to be Teams Group created mailboxes and they are not included in the AD associations for backing up online mailboxes. So far 23 of these mailboxes has turned up in the customer environment and I’m not sure they are wanted.I am wondering if this is a feature coming with the support for Teams backups and if this is normal behaviour. If so, how can it be disabled or excluded from the user mailbox backups? If it’s not normal I suppose a fix will be in place shortly. /Patrik 

Good afternoon all :)  I currently have a ‘hybrid’ Commvault infrastructure - some physical machines, some virtual machines.   My local datacenter has the Commserve as a physical server, and several physical MA’s to back up all my local systems (mix of physical and virtual machines), and I have several virtual MA’s running in cloud instances that handle backups of their associated cloud-based systems. I am being ‘nudged’ towards running *ALL* of my local CV components as virtual machines.  The CommServe itself could exist either in VMware or as a Cloud instance, and my local Media Agents would then run in VMware.   For some reason this makes me uncomfortable, I know virtual machines are supported for MA’s and Commserve, but to be 100% virtualized just makes me slightly uneasy, especially when I think about a VM-based  MA backing up VMware machines in its own VMware instance.  Don’t know why -- it just does. Is anybody else running 100% of their CV environment as virtual machines?   Ass
