Is there a way to receive, in a Commvault post process command, the name of the database being backed up?Additionally, if you have any links to any more documentation about Pre/Post Processes I would be very grateful.

Good day I have a bit of a strange one. I use the Activity Report to generate the Monthly Executive Summary Report on backup stats.There are two days of no information being reported, even though jobs ran over these two days.What are possible reasons for the Metrics server not reporting on two days even though there were successful backups?Thanks so much.

Hello!Just started with Plans and have a question regarding storage part in derivated plan.I created a “Base”Plan to derivate other plans from. I enabled override restrictions to required for storage and optional for the rest. When I create the derivated plan I add new storage detsinations, primary and secondary, abd generate the plan. In the Plan there is now 3 storage destination, the snap shot Primary copy wasn’t previously shown. Since it’s inherrit the settings it’s pointing to the wrong storage destination.Can that be changed from CommandCenter to either correct storage destination or deleted or do I simply have to delete it from GUI, if possible and recommended? BRHenke

Hello All , I need help  , in deffault content the bdd are on line , but i cant see a tables and i  have this error when backupthank yous in advance Cordialy Adlene.  

We have a oracle node where the long term retention (7 years) not happening. It was happening successfully till last year. The node is part of  long term copy policy. I have attached the screenshot for reference.Note: We were getting multi channel warning message from this oracle backup from last few months however its resolved now.    Any suggestion will be really helpful 

Hi,I’ve been running some tests with customer lately and we came across some very troubling situation during out of place restore of Oracle database. Specifically restore out of place is trying to delete source database redo logs. I know that Storage Policies do not flow into Plans in Command Center, but there is a workflow in the Commvault Store where you can select the Storage Policies to migrate to Plans. My question is what does automatically migrate to Command Center from the Java GUI? Client servers? Alerts? Events? Job Controller information? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hello Commvault Community, Today I need information on data protection in Google shared drives. Commvault licenses are purchased under which the drives of Google Workspace users are backed up.I want to change the Google Workspace package that allows me to work with shared drives. Does Commvault backup Google shared drives? If so, do the current licenses we have (Cloud Apps) allow backup of Google shared drives or is it necessary to purchase others? How should I configure a shared drive copy in Commvault (needs documentation for SP20)? Thanks&Regards,Kamil

Hello, Commvault has released the version 11.28. Is this a long term release and stable and where can I find release notes ? Currently I could only find this information for 11.24. Kind RegardsThomas

Hello team,Just want to confirm with Commvault that all users from V1 will not have access to the webconsole once they have been migrated to Exchange online or if there is a workaround for this issue ?Issue:after migrate mail archive v1 to exchange online, user can't view their emails through webconsole and gave java error The issue is now that all the users who have been on Mail Archiver V1 do not have access to view their emails through webconsole but only through the search option.All Mail Archiver V2 are able to access their mail through the search function as well as their webconsole.  I think the Indexing in both V1 and V2 is different and that could be the cause of the issue we are having.

Of course, this one cannot not be deleted.Error message on logs : This Snapshot copy is currently used as a reference Snapshot copy by one or more SnapMirror relationships. Hi!When executing a System State restore, we noticed a couple of things missing. The Backup Job used for the restore completed successfully. However, looking at the Job Details, we saw that the job produced an error stating the client needs to be rebooted due to some pending Windows Updates.Is it normal this Backup Job completes successfully without warnings, although an error is thrown? I would expect the job to complete with status “Completed with one or more errors”.We only found the error by looking at the job details of the job. Who knows if any other clients have this same error which causes the System State backup to be inconsistent. Which we can’t tell because they have the status “Completed”.Thanks.Jeremy
