Hello Community, usually we use LDAP for daily admin usage.For security porpuse i want to use a local user for Master because i dont trust the AD.Since i also trust exchange i would like to disable the ability to reset the local master-users Passwort via Email. Hi,On the command center, I can only schedule frequency as Daily, Weekly or Monthly; what if I want to schedule the reports to run daily at 9 AM, but skip Sunday and Monday? I know on the Java console, I can select which days I want to send out the reports. I just wonder if I could do the same thing on the Command Center? Thank you.

We are in process of configuring backup for NDMP volumes that is configured with snapvault.We are planning to configure backup for those volumes as windows CIFS backup.First copy : “primary snap” that will create a snapshot on the source. (Intellisnap enabled)second copy : AUX copy will be triggered that will replicate the snapshots to snapvault targetThird copy : Backup copy to disk library ( source copy : snapshot on the snapvault target)Fourth copy : selective full to tapes  ( source copy : third copy) My query is, since second copy will be vault/replica copy to replicate the snapshots to snapvault target.Do I need to configure Full backup or Incremental is supported ?I tested a backup with daily Incremental schedule and Synth full schedule weekly once. and noticed AUX copy did not ran for that subclient for incremental backups. However, If I trigger a manual full backup , vault/replica copy runs fine.If I try to run AUX copy manually for Incremental backups, it says no new jobs to

Hello,does anyone know how to delete Disk Filters on a Hyper-V Subclient via qcommand? Add works, modify works but delete doestn do anything to the filters. Im Using this XML: documentation.commvault.com/2023e/expert/files/products/vs_vmware/command_line_xml/update_disk_filters_template.xmlAnd the job is running (any spelling error results in pending jobs) but nothing happens to the filters.XML Parameters for Microsoft Hyper-V Backup Set Configuration (commvault.com)In the xml i’m just swapping “ADD” to “DELETE” and this entry should have been removed. Thanks for help and regardsJacob

Hello Commvault Community,I have an issue with Large VMware Backup with Commvault. VM size is around 1.6 TB, I have also enabled “File system and application consistent” for the VM.The backup has been successful, but at the removing snapshot process VM is stuck/hang and VM will go offline from the networks perspective and be in a snapshot removal state, pretty much unusable. I have to reset the VM manually.Here what we have : VSA : Win2016 11.32.35Transport Type : HotAddMA : RHEL 11.32.35 Please suggest.

Hello Team,I want clarification of DDB disk for an each disk library. We have three different storage hardware devices for different disk libraries.First disk library will use primary backup data, another disk library for monthly (selective monthly copy) and third disk library for Yearly backup (selective yearly copy) .These all three disk libraries configured in one media agent server.Just want to know each disk library will configure individual DDB disk or one disk will use these three disk libraries.Please advise.Thanks in advance.

I have a Commvault Commserver environment v11.28.115.  When I installed Commvault Commserver it initially had v11.28.32 but then I had to update the Commvault software and deployed Maintenance release 115 on top.   Then I was about to deploy the Commserve failover package using the Media Kit v11.28.32 but then it complained that the existing Commvault software is higher than the kit I was trying to install.How can I integrate the Maintenance release 115 in my installation process such that when I initiate the install of Commvault failover package using the v11.28.32 Media Kit the installation also recognizes the existence  maintenance release 115 from the installation Note the Full Media Kit v11.28.32 and Maintenance release 115 are two separate kit. The latter not the full installer but just updatesAny help is appreciated

I was cleaning up some old reports in the Web Console and accidentally deleted the Audit Trail report template. How do I go about recreating that?

We have a windows vmware environment using intellisnap v11.30. There are 3 clustered ESX hosts. and just a couple of VMs. I am trying to do a full VM restore test, however the jobs fail because one of the three ESX hosts are down. During the restore, I select a different ESX host, but the restore error shows CV trying to connect to the ESX host that is down. Is there any way around this? Why is it trying to contact the ESX host that is down despite the fact I ask it to use another ESX host?Error code 91:73 Connection to VM Host <host that is down> has been lost. Please verify the VM hosting services are still running.  

i am following the below link for splitting commserv and media agent , where commserv to a new machine and keepin exising commserv as only media agent ,i moved the DDB using config only option to second instance MA , since the dedup is in same server and location reachable to new MAonce the spliitt is finished media agent and library is online but i am getting below error  

hope everyone if good  i have a very strange issue while installing the client in server it get failed to download binaries from package commvault file system core i have also the log attached herewith. please help to get out of this i have done this ot backup my core server. but unable to install client. 

Hello Community, I am doing 3rd copy of DB backup to cloud library. I have separate Role for customer users created. Customer role has below permissions associated. When browsing backups from Command center under a specific customer user, I can see backups but I cant choose the backup copy. Below is a difference when I am logged in as customer user when I am logged as admin, I see additional option to choose backup copy: I`ve added browse and download permissions to customer user, but it did not helped. I  also tried to add permissions over Storage policy, same result. Kindly help me identify which permission need to be added into customer specific Role or user.Many thanks
