Would you suggest how to view the ddb or storage policy name in command center for ddb verifications ? 

Hello, Are there two possible paths to Commvault certification: Command Center and Commcell Console?Does the Commvault Professional Self-Paced Course ($800.00) include an exam voucher or I need to pay additional $250.00 to do the exam?  Is there a problem with the Self-Paced eLearning page (Commcell Console Path)? “The Commvault Professional Foundations exam validates the skills required to configure and administer a CommCell environment using the Commvault Command Center and is aligned the Commvault Professional Foundations course.”   

Hello everyone, I've to upgrade hedvig and os on hyperscale nodes.Checking the remote software cache path on HSX node, the CVAppliance folder was missing. So I've rerun download+sync of the all packages but CVAppliance folder still miss on the remote cache while on the Commserve cache folder is correctly populated.What have I to check? Thanks and regards

Is there a better way to see Backup Tape statistics besides the Tape Library Growth report on the health page? I am being asked to provide the following:Tapes per week are we using per week?TB of space by week?Available tapes do we have new/old tapes?How many new ones?New tape consumptions over the next few weeks??I can get some of this out of that report but not all. I thought I would propose this to the community before I open a low level case with Commvault support. Thank you for your help.

I need an API endpoint to fetch the subclient id. For testing purpose I copied the ID from the url: https://win-igicqf1affn/commandcenter/#/collectionDetails/content/3/10 In the above mentioned URL 10 is the subclient id. I have used it in other API endpoints. But when I use the api in order to fetch the subclient id it gives me 14 instead of 10. Hi,We use a tape library as DR. It’s configured to only keep one full backup of servers, shares etc.Now I noticed that it doesn’t release tapes though there’re a lot newer backups for the shares or servers.To check it I’ve viewed the tape and what’s not greyed out.Then I checked the fullbackups for that share/server/db etc. and used view media for the fullbackups.Questions:When checking a subclients full backups and viewing media and it then shows a couple of tapes. Does that mean that the full backup does exist on those tapes or does it also show those tapes regardless if the backup is partially or fully on the tapes? Is there a job that we can run to correct and release these tapes if they already should have been released since there already exist newer backups on tape?

Hello dear Commvault users and Commvault specialists, Our libraries are growing unexpectedly. Initial analysis revealed no visible errors. Our two media agents show readiness check OK. The Disk Library Growth Trend report shows data growth, but says not what exactly is the cause and doesn’t show where (which sub client) is the most growing object.That is why my question is, what options are there in Commvault to check the data growth to identify the sub clients, which are growing at most. Our Commvault version is 11.32.23. I would be grateful for any advice.

Hi team The password specifoed during the deploy phase of the VMWare Image of Commvault Software with 11.26  doesn´t work afther the VM has been turned on. The  environment meets the system requirements for using the Commvault Open Virtualization Appliance (OVA) for VMware and  the password lengt requirements, I have also probve with “commvault” as the password as I heve read in anoterjh topis, I attach the screen captures , Can you provide me any help or suggestions,. Hi Community,I had recently moved a mountpoint to and existing drive. The move mountpoint job had completed successfully, but the data from the old mountpoint has not been purged. The size is approx. 12TB.What can I do to purge the old data, as there is another requirement for the provided LUN.

Hi All, we have switched the Mail Server  and added the new adress inside of the control panal. The normal Reports and test amils are working fine but we had an issue with the workflows. For Example the dbmaintanance: 3400 786 05/27 09:25:07 8815232 WorkflowMail: [send mail (Email_sendMail)] failed to send message, host [xyz], port [587]org.apache.commons.mail.EmailException: Sending the email to the following server failed : xyz:587Caused by: com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 451 5.7.3 STARTTLS is required to send mail [xyz]So in the control panal we can set the use starttls but inside of the workflow not and it looks like the workflow engine dont use the global settings. Do you have an idear ?

Dear Team,I have three node Hyperscale cluster. Comcell server is outside hyperscale running inside a Windows VM. version 11.24 At present we are backing up 50 vmware VM clients and few SQL clients. We are procuring a large capacity Hyperscale to add another new 600 Virtual machines to get backed up. I want to move the exisiting SQL clients and 50 vms to new hyperscale. What is the best approach , setup a new comcell and configure everything like storage policies Dedupe and new VSA servers or add the new Hyperscale machines as new setup of media agents and configure backups? Please advise 

From the CS GUI, the JOB Controller Operations has ‘VM Admin (Backup).We are using 11.28.44 FR and this is newly created subclient from  VM backup.Is there a fix for this?  Appreciate it.
