In Metallic, as per the plans weekly selective full backup is configured but weekly synthetic full backup is running and monthly full is running. how it is possible?

Delete manually added VMs from content via api

I have used the apis to retire and delete the VMs but since the VMs are added everytime manually in the subclient, I would like to use the API to remove it from the content as well. I used the below mentioned API and it deletes the complete content. Hello Commvault Community,I hope everyone is doing well. I recently purchased a Commvault license, but unfortunately, I made a mistake when entering the serial number during the activation process. I deleted a company, and all associated laptops were also deleted. I performed a commserve restoration, which recovered the clients in the commserve, but the agents on the laptops are still missing. Is there a solution to recover the agents on the laptops without reinstalling them?

VM stuck at Removal Snapshot process and will go offline from network perspective

Hello Commvault Community,I have an issue with Large VMware Backup with Commvault. VM size is around 1.6 TB, I have also enabled “File system and application consistent” for the VM.The backup has been successful, but at the removing snapshot process VM is stuck/hang and VM will go offline from the networks perspective and be in a snapshot removal state, pretty much unusable. I have to reset the VM manually.Here what we have : VSA : Win2016 11.32.35Transport Type : HotAddMA : RHEL 11.32.35 Please suggest.

COMWEB Server stops automatically tomcat Service .

Hello , Sometimes the Comandcenter Website is suddenly unreachable . When i connect to the comweb Server i can see that the tomcat Service is not startet . In the Event log i find an Entry with the Tomcat service stopped unexpectly. We use the Version 11.28.93..Any Ideas ?  Thanks Michael

Hi team, We are on the way to make SLA Report more consistent by remove not scheduled host.Looking for any suggestion how smart group should looks like ?Create one manual group for all schedule policies and second smart  client association to the schedule policies - not equal - [previous create SP] Or... Client by schedule interval - equal to - daily  For all above situation  advance settings KPI → Exclude from SLA

Login session persists through Web Console for some reason - Users able to bypass MFA for logging into Java console

We have a user that is able to bypass the need for entering in their password + MFA token when logging into the Java console. This user is part of a group where MFA is enabled and SSO is disabled for our environment. I'm not sure what the reason for this would be? When the user initially logs in through the Java console, then opens up the web console, their login for some reason persists. So if they close out the Java console after closing out of the web console, they are then able to login to the Java console without the need for entering in their password or token. It seems as though for some reason the login session persists through the web console. I’m pretty sure this is an additional setting that needs to be modified somewhere, but I’m not exactly sure where this might be?

failed to create Hyperscale 1.5.1

we are failing to create 3 node Hyperscale 1.5.1 cluster (reference architecture ) the library was created but it’s offline with this error- Library status offline due to incomplete storage pool configuration. Please wait for other media agents to join this storage pool library configuration.the media agent for all 3 servers is ready.the version is 11.32.43 (commserve + the three Hyperscale nodes)  is it possible to fix the issue ? or we need to format and install again ?

Hi,am I right in saying that “Scheduling AirGap Intervals on HyperScale X Nodes” pretty much just shuts down access to the HSX between the times you enter ie 9am - 9pm ? https://documentation.commvault.com/v11/essential/scheduling_airgap_intervals_on_hyperscale_x_nodes_01.html Also, if I have a second HSX cluster in my DR Site that just stores AUX copies and I enable scheduled AirGap intervals what happens if an AUX copy is still running as it got delayed ?
