Hi All, we are using Access Node and MediaAgent (FREL) 2022E . The docu says: Automatic OS updates: Select this option to enable automatic OS updates.By default, automatic updates are applied daily for security updates. To modify the security level, perform the following steps after the File Recovery Enabler has been deployed: That was the reason why we are using 15 of these proxy in our wxrail enviroment.  The Update is failing because the FREL is behind an firewall.  I opend an Case 221121-292 to find out what we need but the awnser was….. For internet access, on FREL machine you can open port 80 - HTTP and 443 - HTTPSThan i asked for the urls and the awnser…..  Unfortunately, we won't be able to provide the exact URL's. Hi All,I have a bit of a challenge on my hands. I’m migrating a customer to the new SharePoint agent, but I cannot seem to find a way to effectively select the needed content. The situation is as follows the customer has 51K sites, but most of them are created by students, and should not be part of the backup. So we only want 1300 in the backup. In the previous agent I could do some magic with regex to make this happen. But I do not see a good solution in the new agent.Both the Mail and OneDrive agent give me the opportunity to work with groups, but the SharePoint agent only has all sites, all group sites and project sites. Or i have to click 1300 sites which is not feasible, I also looked of a json to do this, but ne new agent does not take the json format of the old agent so that does not seem to be a solution as well.  Anyone have any idea how I can do this, and possibly automate it so we can update the site content occasionally?

Hi @all, maybe this is a very easy question, but I didn’t found the solution for it.It’s about Windows Clients (File System) and Windows Cluster (File System).In the CommCell console from a cluster perspective, it is very easy to find out, which servers belong to it (right-click on “Properties” → “Advanced” → check tab “Cluster Group Configuration”). But what is the procedere to find out, if a specific client is member of any cluster? Many thanks in advance! BRJan

My company is planning to do a tech refresh on our aging data domain to a newer version. We also highlighted that we’re having backup slowness issues on some of our large Oracle databases & some NDMP backups. Our current configuration is backing up to a VTL located in our data domain & no compression or deduped are enabled from Commvault layer.Dell’s sales team advice us to purchase an additional license for DDBoost for the new Data Domain. This is because DDBoost will be able to perform a very good dedupe & compression rate from the source level before transferring it to our data domain, thus saving the time it took to transfer via network.However I’ve been checking around Commvault’s KB and looks like commvault only works with BoostFS & not DD Boost. I haven’t check with Dell yet regarding this. May I know has anyone implemented DDBoost on your environment for backing up databases/vm & NDMP? 

Actually we testing boostfs (Data Domain) with Commvault it’s possible to configure two MA in Grid store with Boost FS ??

I want to classify certain subclients in a Virtualization client using tagI see that we can add tags at subclient levelFor ex: certain subclients would belong to Application : Group Asome are in Group B, some are in Group C  With this I want to run Backup summary report using that tags, there will be 3 reports each for Group A, B and C I don’t see an option to achieve this I’m not able to segregate/ select subclients in report using subclient tags. Also while creating client computer group , we can have automatic mapping with criteria Clients with tagsbut there is no option to create a group with subclients with tags

Just a question, We busy in the process in configuring backups for office 365, exchange online to particular and i see i am getting this error in the Logs when it tries to scan for mailboxes. “ Failed to get Oauth2.0 token for powershell”. We also configured for onedrive and sharepoint and those seem to be working 100%. We on Version: 11.24.34

Hello community!I’m running into issue with AuxCopy job for one of my Plans in Commvault.This job is a selective secondary copy, which should copy weekly friday fulls into Qnap repository.The destination library is a Qnap library, which was added using uncpath (\\qnap.dns.name\commvault\) and dedicated user with full access permissions for this share.I have configured a MCSS Cloud library also, and create the same secondary selective copy, with the same configuration - and for cloud storage everything is working fine.Qnap firmware is the newest possible (we have updated it few days ago, believing this would solve the problem). We also disconnected every other shares from QNAP (now it is dedicated storage for commvault, for keeping additional copies of backup).The job ends in copy as Partially Copied, when I manually run another AuxCopy job it actually completes without any issues and make a copy job status as “Available”- but it’s not a solu

Hello, The Incremental backup runs log over the weekend causing the Synthetic backup to fail to start.  How do I set the Synthetic backup to queue until the incremental backup completes?  Thank you.
