I have uninstalled all client agents from a host, the upgrade status shows as not applicable.The client now only has VM agent backups occurring. While all other VM backup clients show v 11.00, these clients still retain the agent version. Is there any way to resolve this as it is ruining day.

HiBeen plagued with this problem for a while. Support has not been able to crack it yet either. I have 4 Media Agents and 2 are using CBT and crash consistent backup options for the Intellisnap and work fine. The other 2 Media agents are also using CBT but using Application Consistent (quiesced backup) backup options for Intellisnap and these Media Agents will sometimes freeze up the Virtual Disk Service and the backupcopy fails for the remainder of the backup copies. I cannot open the process manager on the MA’s when this happens and end up have to reboot the MA to get things back on track. Not a lot of info but chucking this one out there to see if anyone had a similar experience. 

Hello, Community. There is a cluster of three nodes. 1 primary and 2 secondary.When I make a backup from one of the nodes, I get the following error:Error Code: [14:109]Description: Index processing failed on MediaAgent. This may be due to the index cache being full or because of a corrupt index.Source: 5, Process: MongoDBCtrlWhen I make a backup from another node, I get the following error:Error Code: [7:276]Description: Failed to start [backup] on node [3]Source: 4, Process: MongoDB how to deal with these errors?

Have 5 media agents in our environment that need to be renamed which would include a different FQDN for the DNS and also new ip address.  What is the best practice since some of these media agents also have DDB’s on SSD drives. Thanks

Where a customer has a requirement to restore data from a Secondary Copy, rather than restoring all of the data directly from that Secondary Copy, it would be useful if there were an option to use something akin to the DASH Copy process to transmit only the blocks that are not available via the Primary Copy.I could see this being really beneficial for restoring back to remote office locations, and for reducing egress costs when recovering from cloud (especially from Archive tier).Alternatively, something like a Copy Back option could work, where jobs can be copied back to the Primary Copy, leveraging DASH Copy.

Dear Community,  anyone has experience with DB2 point in time restore of more than 1.5 TB Database if yes can you share me how long it takes … in my case almost 9 hours taken for restore. data restore taking 4 to 5 hours and roll forward taken 4 to 5 hours.   

Why do the values of Front End Backup Size and Full Synthetic backups in the Chargeback + License Summary reports show a significant discrepancy? The total of the reports falls considerably below the actual value of the synthetic backups. HI Community,Today we did a migration of our DDB to DDBv5 ( a grid with 4 MAs).But we got this error message for one MA in the grid:“Compact partition failed - Failed to compact partition in MA [MA name]. Moreover, by submitting the DR backup file, all of the old setting and metadata would transfer over. However, our current virtual server that hosts 2022E does not have the necessary system requirements to host 2023E. i have just installed commvault 2024 plateforme in a vm that contains oracle linux 7.9 and after installe it i wanted to launch the commcell console by using the command : console , but it didnt work .

how to diable policy warm copy option "this medium content valid data in warm storage"

 I wanted to apply the latest SQL server updates on the SQL Server 2019 backend on my 2 Commservers ( Primary and DR)What are some of the safe and effective steps in doing it without causing any harm on the log shipping already configured.The steps I have in mind so far are as follows:11. Stop all Commvault services  on primary ( Instance001)2. Apply SQL Server updates on Primary and DR Commserver3. Start Commvault services on primary ( instance 001)I think I am missing something, please help
