Hi,Just a quick question on the Bonded Topology for HyperScale X Reference Architecture.I can see from the BOL that the Storage Pool IP Address should be resolvable to the CommServe server !! Is this a new setting ? I have seen HSX config’s where the storage pool ip address is on a 192.168 range and the CommServe on a 10.10 range with no second nic for a 192.168 range. Thanks  

Hello,Could you say please, if I have Cloud storage in Azure, it is accessed by local MA with local DDB.Are there any optimization's during direct restore from cloud? I mean, if you have 10 TB application , that consumes 3 TB of cloud storage due to deduplication optimization's, how big amount of data will be read during restore?Thanks!

Hello,I have a client that is backed up as a virtual instance plus a native SQL agent. Now I’d Like to change that and remove from virtual and add a File&Systems agent. Though it seems it is already installed, as seen below, but I don’t see the agent under the client.Is there a way to add the license for it? I can’t reinstall it it seems since it’s already there? Anyone know how I should proceed?BRHenke      

We are currently looking into enabling the PassKey feature for one of our ‘Companies’ associated to our Multi-Tenant CommCell.The feature meets all the requirements to allow us, as the MSP, to support the customer from a BAU perspective without being able to view the sensitive data we will be backing up.However, I need to explicitly know that if the customer who will hold the Passkey loses this, can it be recovered from the CSDB?The customer will enter the passkey via remote session so as the MSP we will not have any record of it but need to be able to provide a solution in the event they misplace the Passkey.Thanks in advanced 

Hi Team,On our Linux server, there are folders named /builds/ in different paths and there are many non-critical files in these folders. We want to exclude all folders that are /builds/ on the server and remove them from the backup.If we define exclude as "***/builds/" in this request, will I achieve my goal? Thanks in advance.

Hi All, i have an short question regrading the index state.  When i check the health Status i see that some index probles are rported.  under the remarks the info is Index is outdated. it affects the VSA V2  for some vms i get last index backup time 08.01.2024 and it shows index is outdated. Browse and restore is working fine. The Bigdata apps backup also runs fine.    what can i check or do ?

Hello, In commvault i created hypervisor with 2 nodes. But we are using more then one subscription. For each subscription do i need to creater seperate hypervisor with node, or only node on each subscription is enough?   

HelloMy VSA proxy server has issues communication with the media agent. cvping works, and also test-netconnection. The media agent has 2 NIC, admin and backup. Admin network is not reachable for the VSA proxy. There are 2 DNS records for the media agent.mediaagent.domain.net and mediaagent.backup.domain.netNot sure if it matters but the media agent is registered in the commcell with the admin hostname, mediaagent.domain.net Anyway we have created DIP and backup networks so the VSA proxy actually tries to connect to the correct IP address. Hi Team,So our team have made a temporary third copy that is syncing from our primary copy, and we want to stop the syncing because the storage of the third copy is already full.My questions are:Is there any way to stop the synchronization of my primary and temporary third copy without disabling the Third Copy?  If I disable the active status of this third copy, will I still be able to restore backups from the third copy?

What is the difference between “DDB Last Verified On” and “Existing Job On Disk and DDB Last Verified On”?   Since there is not option to start a job that don’t verify existing jobs on disk? There is a Quick and a non-Quick verification job, but both of them verify existing jobs on disk.

Hi Vaulters, We have all our Storage policies Primary copies being backed up to our main backup Disk Library while the data being Deduped. We acquired a new Tape Library and wanted to use it as a storage for secondary copies, i.e., we want to create a secondary copy for each Storage Policy using the Tape Library. Our main concern is the Deduplication, how the secondary copy to Tape handles the Deduplication on the Main disk Library ? Does the Dedupe cause any issue ? Regards.

Hello, we use CV11.32.35. I have activated File Indexing for Virtual Machines at the VM Level only for one VM.Yesterday the file indexing job was failed I have resubmited the job in commvault console but I don’t find any resubmit option in command center.  Can anyone tell me where I can find the resubmit button for a failed file indexing job in command center? Thanks Roland

Hi, maybe you have an idear: We have clients with 6 or more subclients. The Client is using windows file backup agent.  Al jobs are shown completed and no failed files or folders. But sometimes we getting this message: ERROR CODE [7:331]: High amount of data to be processed in FailedFilesRetry phase is observed with bulk of the data coming from big files that can be more efficiently processed by enabling optimized backups via extent level. Review documentation to proceed.Source: XYZ, Process: clBackup (Error Lookup Site: http://kb.commvault.com/#!/?q=%227:331%22) For some subclients it is daily for the subclients its random. And all subclients are very small maybe they have 20Gb inc change rate.

i have started a aux copy job with 5 jobs and later i found it is selecting all the new jobs to be copied in the same aux copy basically i want only the jobs which are present at the time of aux copy job started to be replicated can i achieve it only by disabling the below pick data from running backup job do i need to set  QueueConflictingAuxCopyJob to 1
