We have a 4 node cluster where 1 node is primary and 3 standbys, i have configured cluster backup, the version is 11.32.43.when i try to do FsBased backup and it fails with "primary and secondary postgress server state is not currect look in logs for more" in the postgresIFind log it says Attach_RemoteCommand failed with error 0xE8090010And therefore he cant get the status of the primary

Hello,I want to test the new v11.40 and deployed the Linux OVA. Is it possible to import the OVA to VMware workstation and do the configuration manually? In vSphere it will be done while imorting the OVA. Thank you and regards, Thomas

Dear Team, We are planning to upgrade to a new CommCell server with an updated Commvault license.The current CommServe is a physical server running on Windows Server 2012, functioning as both the CommServe (CS) and Media Agent (MA) and additionally the commvault license End of support.As part of the upgrade: We will deploy a new virtual machine with the latest Windows OS to serve as a dedicated CommServe. A new physical server running Oracle Linux OS will be provisioned as the Media Agent. We recently loaded up a brand new Commserv. Upon configuring On-Prem Exchange Mailbox backups there was a cleanup job policy created that was configured and enabled. On first run after the first mailbox run (Close to 4700 mailboxes) the job deleted about 1.8 million e-mails from exchange based on the settings of the job which appears to have picked1 day past our retention date to clean up everything. Our retention date is 90 days so the job used 91 days.  Has anybody else even seen where the cleanup job automatically enables when an exchange plan is created and uses defaults?

Hi Team, I observed that HistoryDB size got increased which is around 25+ GB. What might be the cause and will it impact the performance and what troubleshooting steps we can take to address the issue.

Buen día reciban cordial saludo.De su amable ayuda, los backups de 16 máquinas virtuales  salen con errores o con backup fallidos y necesitamos consultarles si es posible configurar a Commvault para que realice esos backups sin tener en cuenta el tema de los snapshot ?Los errores que arroja el sistema son como los siguientes:(Es un tema que no no es posible resolver desde el área de Infraestructura por temas de capacidad y obsolescencia de los equipos).

Title says it all. This client is in my left sidebar of the Java Console, containing an Agent called “BigDataApps”. The install date is in April 2018, which is when we set up Commvault in our environment - I was not present that for, and none of my team knows what it is either. Is it some default sub-component of Commvault? I looked in the Documentation Search and besides references to REST API, I can’t find anything definitive.

Hi,I have a problem in exporting emails to CAB files. The job isn't starting and display an error message. Note: export emails to PST file are working fine.

We want to use encryption for our backup to ensure that our backup data is secure, and when we restore the backup, the decryption key must be required. 

I cannot login to cloud.commvault.com it is telling me invalid username or password

Does a return code “0” mean that the backup was completed successfully and no files have been skipped? Is there an official link that can confirm these codes? Asking because we want to use the status code “0” in an automated process.
