Disk Library Growth Trend report not working any more and not more available on store

Where are my the copies of my OneDrive backups stored?

Earlier this year I switched my OneDrive backups from V1 to V2 backups and it was a problematic exercise that took several months and several support tickets to get working. I’m trying to confirm our retention and storage for the auditors and an having some difficulty. When I sign on to the Command Center, I see that OneDrive backups use the OneDrive BU V2 plan (Command Center > Protect > Office365 > OneDrive for Business > OneDrive_V2 > Content). Clicking the OneDrive BU V2 link, I see the retention is set to 3 years (1095 days) but that it doesn’t specify the backup copies. Plans > OneDrive BU V2 > 3 year retentionIf I go into Protect > Office365 > OneDrive for Business > OneDrive_V2 > Configuration, in the Infrastructure settings section I see Server Plan is O365_Plan. Office 365 > IneDrive_V2 > Server plan = O365_Plan If I click on the O365_Plan link, I see that there are three copies of the backups although one is a Snapshot primary copy

We have client with oldes oracle db and we must use agent v10, but after upgrade commserve and media agent to 11.28 backups stop working, error sugest that this is problem with network but it’s not true.

Exchange Online - mailbox without Microsoft license

Hi,I understand that Commvault only backs up (User / Group / Shared) Exchange Online Mailboxes with a Microsoft mailbox license assigned.Is this correct? If this is correct, is there a possibility to automatically exclude from backup all (User / Group / Shared) Mailboxes without a Microsoft mailbox license, so that for once in a lifetime the Exchange Online backup can complete succesfully without any mentioning of failed / skipped mailboxes?Thank you so much!

Migrating Commvault integrated to one vCenter to another new vCenter

We currently have an 3 tier architecture with Vmware 7.0 and vcenter 7.0 with the commvault deployed in the VM.The Backups are running smoothly without environment. We are in the process of purchasing Vxrail and would be moving all our VMs from the old 3 tier architecture to new VxRail Appliance.We want to ensure all our existing Commvault backups and jobs and schedules configured with the old vCenter are successfully migrated to the new vCenter running on VxRail.How do we proceed with this

Automate software installation through REST API

Hi Vaulters,I am new to Commvault and I am trying to use REST API to install DB2 on a client computer. This is what I have done and found so far:1.I first used XML file generated by “Save as script” in Commcell console installation process and the JSON version of it, and used /InstallClient API which, according to the REST API reference, installs packages on a new client or an existing client. However this only gave a 500 error and no more information was provided. (The file is attached as File1.txt)2.Then I tried to imitate the json sample given in the API reference of /InstallClient (https://documentation.commvault.com/v11/essential/130184_rest_api_post_install_client_associations.html) but the same 500 error code was returned. I think there are many important fields for DB2 that are never covered in the API reference. Hello, we are having problem with an aux copy job during the night. Backup NAS NFS shares

Hi. At the moment we have commvault backups setup to backup NAS SMB shares. For that we have Windows VM as Data Access Node.Do we need to setup another Data Access node (linux based) to be able to backup NAS NFS shares, or is there a way to use existing Windows VM Data Access Node?I inherit commvault from another team and didn’t get much training on it, so consider me a newbie. ;)

HSX Replace NIC

Hi, I have a three node HSX Reference Architecture stack.On one of the nodes the network card has failed. On this card one port is connected to the Production LAN and the other to the Storage. The node has two network cards configured so my node is still up. I have ordered a new network card but my question is, do I need to do anything after I replace it or will it just be added back to the Bonds ? Thanks

What level of privileges “domain user” needs to have to rename/add new server to the domain? Should it be domain admin? ORACLE RAC Backup Inquiry

Hi, We had our Oracle RAC being backup by the Commvault. The backup is running ever since with any config changes or past issue but suddenly our DB team complaining of latency issue due to Commvault is doing backup of data in node which is the active which consume a lot of memory and cpu resources of the DB servers. The DB is questioning why the backup is performed in the node 1(active) as they assume it runs in node 2 before that is why no latency issue encountered in their end. The challenge question to Commvault is is there a way the backup process is deviating from doing backup from one node to do it in another node automatically? What is the behavior of Commvault Oracle RAC backup, where the data is read to which node and is there a way to change it by default to read in another node of the cluster?

Duplicate Client Computers for VM and File System

Hi Team,Actually the clients are Virtual Machine’s and the backup was taken at file system level. Now, after taking snapshot backup of the clients, it is showing as a duplicate entry on client computers. The problem is exclusive to these clients because other clients have also taken VM and FS backups in our commcell. Please help to guide on the same.

Disk Library Migration (Exchange On-Premises)

Goal is to migrate exchange v2 archived backups from disk library A to B (no tape involved). With that environment we allow users to access webconsole so that they can restore deleted emails if needed. My guess is that during the Aux Copy emails continue to be visible through webconsole without any impact there?!? Once I Aux Copy from Primary to the Secondary copy, I also assume that the promotion of the secondary copy to primary will then be the used by all the exchange indexing servers?Media agents/Exchange Access Nodes/Index and Wenconsole are all separate servers.Generally I would just follow the process listed on the links but wanted to check with the community and see if I am missing anything here.
