Hi there, I’m currently working on building a workflow that is supposed to create a ticket in our cloud based ticketing system.Our servers that are running the workflow engine need a proxy to get to the internet. I have confirmed that I can access the URL with the browser and there is a proxy configured on CommVault → Control panel → Internet Options → HTTP Proxy. Getting below message while restoring deleted mailbox.  Metallic doesn’t create a mailbox? while doing the restore.  Mailbox [xxxxx] not found on O365 exchange and possibly deleted. Please make sure user mailbox is present or create one to restore data inplace.

Hello teamMy Commvault is 11.20. In one of my storage policy I observed following problem. Index full backup jobs seems not to be aged. As far as I know system keeps only a few copies of full index backup. Schedule and cleanup rules are default. Retentions for this storage policy is no more than 1 month.I see almost 40 jobs of full index backup from January this year until now. Every job has a copy on disk and a tape on storage policy. Data retention forecast report says aging of these jobs are according to index rule. Backups are small but it is annoying because old single copy of job takes full LTO8.What is the cause of this behaviour ?Is there any problem with index cache ?How can I check it ?Can I manually delete old index backup jobs ?Thanks for any advice.Regards,

If you dont use it -- you lose it!!So I forget how to do this...We are rolling out some new Hyperscale X  and was getting around to some cleanup to make things a little easier to read for new staff etc. I used to be able to assign a Plan or Storage policy to a clinet group. And now-- i completely forget how i did it in the past. Any help reminding me how to do it?  Also - There used to  be a workflow item for this as well.

Hi I have just created an SAP HANA backup using Commvault 11.24. And I have notices, that there is this idle job running all the time.  Is that normal when setting up a SAP HANA backup, that you have this job running all the time?When I am looking at the job, it is looking like it is a log backup

Hi all, I have reviewed 2 environments showing the same inconsistency, FR24 and FR28/2022E (On screenshots)On a storage policy that has a snap and a primary copy where encryption is used the following is seen:Java GUI > Properties on primary copy > Shows encrypted (Taken over from GDDB, as expected)What I expect to see in command center, when I review my backup copy job > Encryption Enabled: Yes, as we can see in the java GUI.What it actually shows:Encryption enabled: Unavailable When reviewing the snap job (Which does not use dedupe, and we do not encrypt it)In the command center it shows: Encryption enabled: Yes

I have a customer who has configured SAML within their environment that’s currently on 11.28 (2022E). If they login via the Web Console/Command Center, the SAML authentication is required. Local users are unable to access the environment. However, when logging in via the CommCell Console, users are able to authenticate using either local accounts or SAML and access the environment.Is there anyway to enforce the use of only SAML on the CommCell Console and not allow local users to authenticate successfully?

HI Team,  Greetings!On the mount path, when i click view content(attached snap). last backup time is showing as 9/9/2022 but backups are running fine on the mount path. from storage policy, i can see that jobs are showing on the mount point by using view media. i am using sp11.20.85. looks like bug. did anyone have any idea about it ?

I am deleting a number of Storage Policy Copies  and have noticed that Big Data Apps Index backups do not age like other backups. I have manually copied these backups to long term storage and run data aging expecting the backup to disappear from my short term retention policy. It seems as though these backups do not recognise when there are multiple copies. do I need to manually delete the extra copies?

Hi,Today I ran auxiliary and backup copies via a Windows batch script and the qoperation command/xml parameters.It works well, but i wanted to do something more 21th centuries, more stable (the qcommand response sometimes change with new versions) and something redundant by using directly the webserver and the rest api.But i don’t find how to do it in the documentation. We have the possibility to create an auxiliary copy, but not to launch it. I’m quite surprised. Please say i'm wrong.Thank you.

I configured a Global Command Center by registering the remote CommCells as outlined in https://documentation.commvault.com/2022e/essential/151227_global_command_center.html.  When you register the remote CommCell, it asks for the Service CommCell host name along with username and password.  It then reaches out and synchronizes the service CommCells.For some reason, when I look at the CommCell names under Service CommCells, it is inconsistent.  Some are showing a CommCell ID/Registration number while others have the full hostname and others have the short CommCell name.Where is it pulling that CommCell Name from?  Can it be edited?It would be nice if you could edit the CommCell names on the Service CommCells page to input a friendly name so that the other admins would know which one it was.  Perhaps tha
