Hi Team,As per the snapshot, total data written 1.33 TB  out of 10TB . But free space showing me 46 GB only.The same like showing me other mount points. But when check the physical size it is occupied around 10 TB only. Please help me on this.

Hello,Dr backup is configured with the below location.\\ip\h$\Commserve_DR This is basically a Media Agent (windows) and in H drive I am storing the metadata to this location.When I click on the browse option and give the username and password, it says incorrect username or password. I have given the correct username and password but still its giving error. How can I get the correct username and password?There is one option to change the username and I did that also but still its not working. Also Upload backup metadata to Commvault cloud - It creates a air-gap copy of metadata but where it exactly store? Hello all,Is there a log file on the backed up client (Windows OS) that shows all (successfully) backed up files from a File System Backup?As you can view all the successfully backed up files from within Commvault the information must be there somewhere - I presume in the CommServe DB itself - but is that also logged somewhere in a log file on the client? Background:An application on that Client is creating many files on a daily basis that need to be backed up but afterwards (after 24h) are no longer needed on the client. Unfortunately, the application does not cleanup these “old” files, meaning they remain on the File System unless they are manually deleted. Due to the large size of these files (couple of GB per File) we ideally don’t want to just extend the File System but instead would prefer to run a script that runs deletes these files 1-2x per day. So we are using smtp journaling and the location we are journaling to continues to grow in space. I am not sure why. I have run full back up jobs on the content store mailbox, i have ran cleanup against it as well. When clean up runs it only clears out the recent emails that came. However the path smtpmailcache\mailboxes\inbox have about 140GB of mail items. Am i able to remove all those messages? My retention on that mailbox is 1 day however i have 153 folders and growing in that inbox location. Any advice would be apricated.

Hi, could someone please explain how the Legal Hold setting in a storage policy works?  So here is my situation, so basically I have a single server within this storage policy that needs to be set to infinite retention on all subsequent backups going forward.  Not sure if Legal Hold is the right way to do this, so any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated.

Commvault changed the default GCP snapshot method from multi-regional to regional in version 2023 (11.30.0) and now gives you the option to choose regional or multi-regional snapshots for your data to help with cost savings and better flexibility of your backups.  Google Cloud Platform has recently published new pricing for their standard snapshots.  This price increase went into effect on April 1st, 2023.  Regional snapshot storage pricing increased from $0.026 GB per month to $0.050 GB per month (us-central1 zone baseline), a 63.1% increase, while multi-regional snapshot storage pricing increased from $0.026 GB per month to $0.065 GB per month (United States multi-region baseline), an 85.7% increase.  See Google pricing announcement for more information:

hello ,  we are standardizing our storage policies as part of that we are changing the retention set for the storage policies , most of them are lower retention than previously set if i run data aging job will it help to reclaim the storage space

Hi all.At times we get the below error when something have happened to the Archive log files. Description: PostgreSQL Database: The Data backup has failed. Archive Log files are missing preventing this job from completing on Instance [XXX] Client [XXX]. Please run a FULL backup.  It would be beneficial if the job could automatically convert to a full, instead of killing the job manually, and then start a full.
