Hello All,I would like to use the Amazon KMS for the encryption, how do I achieve this. Do I need to register the Amazon KMS in our commcell and use it in our policies?As per below documentation we were asked to add additional keys to enable encryption. Hi Gurus,I am looking for a solution that would allow us to use our sandbox Commcell to act as a repository for our Custom workflows. The idea is we would develop all workflows in the sandbox and when complete deploy them to the production Commcells.Is anyone aware of any out of the box software that would do this, or are we better off writing a custom workflow to do the job? I am interested in what other people are using to accomplish this, if at all.Regards

Is there any way to get the loop index and counter in any of the for loop activities?I have been setting a counter variable prior to the loop starting and incrementing it at the end of every loop, but surely this already exists.  Also I get wonky results when I allow loops to run multiple processes at once.   

we are using Commvault archiving solution where we are successfully archiving exchange2019 but cleanup job is not working.Even cleanup job is running successfully but space is not getting saved for any inbox. exchange admin have put quota on database itself which define quota for each user like echange2013.what would be issue. please suggest.

I have a machine that started getting backup failures with this error “Error downloading Virtual Machine config file”.  Just started a week ago, prior to that backups were successful.What could be causing that problem.  The server is in Azure VMWare Solutions and being backed up using Metallic.

Hi, I’m doing some test for a customer to replace Robot Copy with this feature. But isn’t clear what trigger is to replicate data ??If we just add a small file at source couple of 100 KB the replication is not happening in the next following minutes !?So was what will trigger the replication ?Thank you

Hi.. With MS SQL we can set the account used for connecting to SQL on a group level….. Any idea on how to do the same for DB2? This seems to involve some scripting which I suck at… (unless it starts with an @echo off) :-) Our DB2 team is considering creating a single DB2 user for all DB2 servers/ instances to be used by CLVT… This user will have its password changed on an often basis, but we do not want to traverse every single DB2 server /instance to change the password.. .(we’ve got quite a few) Any idea/ solution would be highly appreciated :-)  Thank you..  Kind regardsRubeck

Is it possible to restore complete SharePoint Online sites to on-premise SharePoint server?

Is it possible to restore Exchange Online mailboxes to on-premise Exchange server?

Recently we added Qumulo to our environment and are backing it up.  What I have observed is that since then the throughput on all jobs have significantly decreased. (not sure if related, but who knows)  We are working with Support, but I wanted to see if anyone else may have ran into this issue with Qumulo.     Job ID 752435 (incremental backup) took over 11 hours to back up 154.41 GB.  Job ID 752486 (full backup) took 7 hours 13 minutes to back up 12.81 TB.The above jobs do not make sense to me considering their difference is size and the amount of time to back up.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you Community!

Hi All,I was wondering if having clients using index V1 and others using V2 can coexist on the same commvault environment ? I mean, does have any impact on the Index cache ? On the MA performance ? ...etc Any information or tip would be welcome.Regards.

We are Planning to deploy new CommCell console/COMM vault environment with Physical media agent (Cisco ucs240 M5) . This is the standalone media agent and will be directly connected to core switch instead of FI. Just want to know best practices for media server configuration and its network requirements.(IP ad VLAN). Can all things can be configured using the CIMC console on the servers etc. 

Hi Team a few questions on HSX especially on network connectivity and replicationcan we configure HSX to accept connection only on certain IP and ports? Can the replication between 2 HSX to be on 1 particular network port or it will have to be whole HSX cluster in the sense all the hsx nodes need to be able to communicate with each other across 2 Data centers? How does the replication between 2 HSX works and numbers of ports required etc 

Hi there,I would like to discuss quite a common trouble.I have removed several VMs from the backup - they have been removed from "Contents of subclient" under the subclient properties. However, the backup jobs binded with these VMs cannot be aged due to the basic cycle rule . Even though, the global rule "Ignore Cycles Retention On De-Configured Clients" is set to 1. In fact, the VMs are already deleted from the vcenter (last copy of VMs is retained in the other DC). Moreover, none of these VMs are seen in CV Browser tab. So, is there any option how to bypass the basic cycle retention law and let these backup jobs aged? Of course, I could manually delete these jobs from the tapes, which is a quit unrecommended approach, isnt? Neverthless, it is the last chance to free the tapes.
