Hi, We are on 11.32, in the command center plan while creating the RPO(schedule) it does not show option for synthetic full backup.As a workaround we created using commcell console. We are going to deploy new environment with 11.36.I beleive in the deployments from 11.34 the commcell console is locked(unless we have auth code).In such a case how do we create a synthetic full in command center Plans(I know there will be automatic synthetic full which is hidden, but we need to define synthetic full manually) ? One more query in  commcell console since schedule policy and storage policy are different, we can customize the subclients with in storage policy with different schedules. But in commandcenter the plan is binded with RPO.This means the subclients in plan cannot be customized with having different schedules.Doesn’t it a limitation of Command center plan? I hope the questions are clear.

Dear Community,I try to configure airgap interval on HSX cluster from 7AM to 4AM next day to allow aux copy for 3 hours only , when I run command “./cvsds -c 7:00 4:00” I get “Failed to get storage services status”.Kindly need your support.

We have a bunch of older VM backups, where we only have some full backups left, like yearly and monthly backups.We would like to create a script that shows us the available restore points to do some calculations on them. Can anyone help me to find the available restore points via the Rest-API ?Thanks in advance, Maurice

Friends, We have a change of retention for the backup data of a set of VM backups: we don’t need the month and year backups anymore.The retention was never changed within our Plans, but we only stopped to make the monthly and yearly backups, so it’s not changing the aging process, because the existing month and yearly backups will stay with their current duration. Now we want to delete these monthly and yearly backups, but I can’t find a how...We prefer to do this via Rest-API calls if possible, as we speak about a lot of VM…. Can anyone help us with this? Thanks in advance, Maurice

Hello!I have a question about failing-over and using Okta to SSO into the webconsole.Current situation:Software Version: 11.32.69We use Okta to SSO into Command Center and Java GUI.  When we log into Commvault, it redirects to our Okta side, performs authentication, and redirects to the Active server’s webconsole link.  (Our webconsole is hosted on the Commserve Server).  Failover situation:When we failover, the Passive server’s webconsole actually comes up and works.  I am able to see the login screen.  I am able to enter my credentials, and it redirects to the Okta side.  After it performs the authentication, instead of it redirecting to the passive server webconsole, it attempts to open the active server’s webconsole.  Since it can’t open that, the login fails. Is there a way for it to redirect to the passive server webconsole instead of the active server’s webconsole?  Or is this more of a configuration that needs to be done on the Okta side? Thanks! 

Hello team Referring to the previous thread, we're currently on version 11.32.63, and the “equivalent API” option isn’t available in the Command Center. Could you let us know which service pack includes this feature, or where we might be able to locate this option? Thank you!   

Hello, I have a question. When backing up a VMware VM via SAN, it performs backup of all its disks in parallel, which gives us optimal performance, reaching a speed that exceeds 1TB/hr. The problem comes in the restore since the speed decreases at rates between 200 and 300 GB/hr. We see in the logs that each disk of the VM is restored one by one. Is there a key that can solve this problem.

Hi all,I am trying to configure two physical RHEL servers that are not domain-joined. I need to back these servers up and need to install the agent first. Considering all firewall rules are in place, which would be the best way to install the file system agent and then configure for backups.Would a decoupled install work just fine? Installing the agent locally on the client server, then adding the client fetching “the configuration information from the client that is already installed in decoupled mode.”I am having a hard time finding documentation with a case like this. All I am trying to figure out is how to get the Commserve to reach the servers once the agents are installed. Once the Commserve can talk to the clients I am able to configure the rest.I was wondering if this is even possible. Usually, I deal with servers that are domain-joined.Thanks in advance! 

Hi All, we are looking for an solution to backup an 7TB big SQL Server and restore the hole instance in 2h this is the customer wish.  I think the normal streaming backup is not working for this part. Maybe when the mediaagent has an all flash maglib behind and the network is 50GB and the sql server vm is also running on an nvme enviroment.  So we are thinking what can we do to backup the DBs and get an quick restore.  One Point ist the intelli snap for nutanix. Our idear is to run ever 4h an intellisnap for nutanix backup and copy it out to cv. Also we would like to install an sql cv agent inside of the vm run daily full + daily diff + every 15 minuts trans logs but no my question regarding the way back.  Lets say we have now 10:00 may last vm snap was at 06:00 and my logs are running every 15 min no i do an revert of the snap to 06:00 is it possible to restore over the commvault agent only the logs to 10:00 ? We want to prevent that the agent is restoreing the hole stuff from full +

i configured an NDMP backup with 10 readers , i have dedicated ma with enough resources to accommodate  it , i split the content to several sub clients , as you can see in the below pic , there only one active streams never completing , how can i reuse the comeplted stream to do the job and finish it

Are there any plans in Commvault to support backup of MaxDB on Windows 2022 platform? Or is it already supported but docs just haven’t been updated yet?It would be great if any vaulter could check that for me.Thanks!

I have MSSQL database server. Where databases are periodically added and deleted. How can I set a backup of certain databases by mask. For example, a backup of only those databases that begin with the letter A.Initially selecting databases for backup is not suitable. It is necessary that databases that match the mask are automatically included in the backup job when they appear on the server.

I deployed the workflow "RestoreRequestAuthorization" and configured it for some client groups and a user group to be the approvers. All worked good.Now I want to configure another workflow to be able to configure another user group to approve requests for another client group(s) as my customer has different teams for different backup agents.When I deployed the cloned workflow I received an error message saying “message already configured for business logic workflow”. I found the conflicting message and gave it another name and was able to deploy the cloned workflow successfully.When I configured the cloned workflow with other client groups it didn’t work and the restore jobs didn’t trigger any requests for approvals!Wondering if anyone went through similar issue before?Thanks in advance!

Hello,we installed a v11.36 in a POC. Customer has circular logging in Exchange active. We do not use the Java GUI, and now we are looking for the advanced backup option “Convert job to full for databases that have circular logging enabled” in Command Center. We didn’t find it, but I may not be firm enough with Command Center for that ….Regards, Thomas

Do it means which active/active or active/passive?In the Job Results Directory box, type the path for the job results directory. Ensure that the directory resides on a shared cluster file system. What about jobresults directory ,how this resource need to be configured in cluster?How the dependency of jobresults with other resources need to be defined ? What does moved filesystem means ? Unmount any moved file system because of the failover  Please help to answer these queries.

Hello Commvault Community,Do we have any news regarding HCL Domino 14 support for Linux? I saw in another thread on Community that for Windows it has already been confirmed, for Linux theoretically too, but the documentation still hasn't been updated - Customers are asking for it and however, entries in the documentation are important in view of the regulation of companies' internal policies. Is there any date when this information will be updated? Currently we have encountered a problem with the “Discovering Databases” process, but this is the first instance of HCL Domino 14 database in the environment and for previous versions this problem doesn’t exist - hence my concern whether we should continue to integrate with Commvault if this version of the database is not officially supported.Thanks in advance Kind RegardsKamil

Hello Guys.I have backed up a linux file then I did restore successfully. Both of  there is not any failure or skiping file. But there are 20000 missing file after restore. What clould be there ?backupRestore
