How do I get the api equivalent to this:  

In our ORACLE RAC pseudo client configuration the ArchiveLog backup set run every 15min and not every 8h as indicated in the Plan used by the setAny idea?I’m the Commvault administrator but I’m not confident with the DB Oracle part, I tried to following the documentation and I didn’t understand where is my fault ThanksAlex G.

I did shift-F8 to get gui logging going it created the GUI folder under C:\Program Files\Commvault\ContentStore\GUI but nothing is in the folder. I got the message that it was enabled but its not doing anything.Did the logging go somewhere else?  

Hello I would appreciate an explanation of how I delete the backup from the cloud in order to start over. I tried to delete job - under storage policy -but it deleted only the backups that were added and not the first large copy which is 8 Tera i can delete just only the small job that are added with each backup.I want to literally delete everything and let the backup run again after I remove large VM.thx  

Hi, we are looking for more information about the Outlook Addin.Is there a site, that list the current (and maybe previous) Versions?Also some patchnotes and/or compatibility information would be nice to read.Currently, the only reliable way to get the Version/Buildnumber is to download the software from https://documentation.commvault.com/11.26/expert/29115_outlook_add_in_packages.html Un-Zip the Exe-File and take a look into the CvInstaller.ini to find more information and the build number. Btw. did you know, that the Exe-File on the MA-Portal is from 2019, the file from the docs.commvault.com is from 2022?

Hi Team,I’m currently want to deploy a backup for Azure stack HCI vm backup. As per the documentation online, I can only see at the essential section where it need to configure using command center. When I looked at the expert section, there is no Azure stack HCI configuration. The way it deployed seems that the same as per normal HyperV backup, where I need to install VSA at all HCI node.My question is:Do the configuration only supported from command center and not from commcell console?  The HCI node is based on HyperV core setup, without a GUI, how can I install VSA inside the HCI node? Using command line from power shell? How to run setup.exe (the installer) from the power shell?Thanks and best regards,Fauzi

hello everyone.From the process manager you can see that all the services are active, only the CommVault Workflow Engine service has not started. I can't start it from the Process Manager and neither manually from Windows Services. I already checked the permissions, ports, connections and everything is fine.Do you have any idea?

I would like to rebuild/replace our current v11 (.28.56) Command Center server (virtualised), that is running the Commcell Console and Command Center, as it running on Windows 2012 R2, which is about to be EOL from Microsoft. Is there an easy to follow procedure to do this, as I could not find anything in the Knowledge Documentation website. Ideally, I would like to build the new command server with the existing one still running, to avoid interrupting current backups, and loss of databases/jobs, etc. Is this easy to do?I will worry about the physical media server separately when the time comes.P.S. I had hoped to do an in-place Operating system upgrade on the existing VM, but Windows 2016 refused the Keep Files/apps option, most likely because the current Console is running SQL 2008.

When I try to add the Windows System as a laptop, the job fails with the error shown below.68:574 Required media version [11.30] with transaction Id [4859364] is missing in the Software Cache. CommServe may be installed with a lower version media. Hello community,I’m wondering about cloud libraries redesign to provide offsite copies for resources protected in certain Azure region. Since we don’t have express route in our configuration, I’m wondering how to keep costs low. Basically, we are running at Metallic, but most of Commvault configuration is available to us. So, there are two major scenarios I’m considering:use set of new AZ Storage Accounts with native Geo replication (GRS) to keep egress costs more controlled. So there would be primary copy keep at hot LRS in RegionA and secondary at cool GRS RegionA (replicated to paried region) use Commvault native auxcopy, this will trigger significant egress upon transferring data from one AZ region to another due to extensive data reads. Hi, We are trying to restore a backup job from SharePoint Online, and we have successfully managed to run the backup job. However, we encounter the following error when attempting to restore. [Error decrypting password] We have tried restoring back to SharePoint Online, to the proxy server, and to a SharePoint on-premises SE server. Unfortunately, we receive the same error message regardless of where we try to restore to.Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? Thanks!

Hi guys,I’m wondering if there a way that I can divide and assign an amount of Endpoint users licenses to a particular tenant?Like, I have tow tenants configured (tenant1 and tenant2) and 50 endpoint licenses. From here I want to hardly assign 10 Endpoint license to tenant2, where admin of the tenent2 only can use a maximum of 10 Endpoint licenses. Any idea on haow I can acheive that?

Hello all,Would it be possible for Commvault to provide a script to enable CIS hardening for Windows 2019/2022?I see there is a virtual imagen of “CIS L1 Hardened Commserve 11.28 for WIndows 2019” at CommVault Store, but our customer is asking for a physical CommServe….I also see there are scripts for Windows 2016, but no scripts for windows 2019 or 2022.Please advise. Thanks in advance!Sergio
