Hi Team,I'm encountering the following error when attempting to browse Guest Files and Folders:Internal Error [150994988] in CVSession while communicating with remote host [Remote system []. Communications Service returned error when executing remote library [sLNLIVEBROWSE] function [sLPLIVEBROWSE].].  [] I've verified that the FREL server appears to be healthy and there are no apparent issues on that end.Could you please advise on what might be causing this error and any checks or steps I should take to troubleshoot further?

Hello Team, When I get the json payload from the “Equivalent Api” option in Command Center, I see a GUID parameter. What exactly is a GUID, what does it do? Hello everyone, hope you’re having a good day. I’ve been trying to build an API call that would suspend and then autoresume a job but I’m not being able to figure out how. I’m basically stuck first suspending and putting it in a loop finding when the job is finally suspended to then make a call to resume. Hello,Security scans are being carried out at many customers' sites and are increasingly pointing out third-party software installed by Commvault and missing security updates. Are the third-party components automatically updated by Commvault updates? Can the updates also be installed manually without any problems?Regards, Thomas

Hello Team, We have Windows 2016 servers in 3DC(active-standby-standby) and CommServe LiveSync for High Availability(link below). We want to upgrade these servers to Windows 2022 with Windows in-place upgrade. As far as I know, Commvault software supports Windows in-place upgrade, but does it support it in HA structure? I couldn't find any information about this in the documentation.If it supports it, would it make sense to upgrade standby first, then do production failover, and then do the other one?Is production failover supported on different Windows versions, does it make sense to do it? Thanks in advance!https://documentation.commvault.com/2024e/expert/commserve_livesync_for_high_availability_disaster_recovery.html

Hi all, a new Commvault user here.We are trying to perform a restore from a tape. However, the "Mark for Catalog" option is missing in the Command Center. It's a feature in the CommCell Console, which we don't have access to.This is a standard feature that we need in our backup policy. What is the best way to restore VMs directly from tape (without the database or sync) ?

Dear Vaulters,I have a question. I’ve configured the backup for a vm group to be on our new LTO9 tape library and configured the selective monthly backup on the same library for long retention.for the tapes of the primary copy i see that each tapes keep about 37 TB of data whereas each tape for selective copy keep about 16 TB of data. Our expectation is to keep the more data on the tapes assigned to selective copy as the same data are kept on the same library. Please let me know if this is normal behavior. BR

Hi,A colleague and I both had pending exam vouchers for the CommVault Foundations exam and have now lost access to https://commvault.csod.com/ I have tried to reset the password for this site, but no password reset is coming through and it looks like the content\exam voucher has not been moved over to the Readiverse portal. Could someone please look into this as these vouchers were valid until 2027 I believe.ThanksJem

Hello Commvault Community,I’m facing an issue with a new virtual Live Sync server that I’ve set up to replace an existing server. The new server is running the latest CommServe Failover version and is connected to our main CommServe. However, the Live Sync replication job is failing, and the Client Connectivity check shows "Not Ready" due to communication failures with the MediaAgent. I’ve attached a screenshot of the readiness check below.What could be causing the communication failure between server and CommServe despite successful ping and DNS tests?

Hi all,We have 2 environments using Commvault (Dev - 195 VMs and Prod - 2175 VMs). In testing the REST APIs, I've found that the GET VM API only returns some VMs in the Prod environment. Hello,Yesterday I updated the software version on my server hosting the command center to 11.32.59. Since then, when i log into the command center, in the health tile, there is a spinning circle. Any tips on how to get this populated properly again?RegardsFergus

I tested file copy speed via configured SMB shares and found it can reach 5Gbps. I ruled out impacts from server hard drives, NICs, and network switches. After checking the network settings in both the media agent and client properties (no specific configurations were found), where else could the bottleneck be? Thank you!

we are migrating the data from old library to library , we are creating aux copy and once it is fully synced promoting the copy to primary , but for appawre sp we have snapshot copy as well, how we migrate those data , is it required ? 

Hi Team, I am trying to do an automation. As part of this, I want to add a VM that I have pulled as a variable via a form to a subclient first (if the subclient content is full, it will clean it and then add the VM) and I want to trigger the Full backup of the relevant subclient. Which Rest API, qcommand, commvault powershell module etc. can I do this better with and which API or commands can I do it with, can you give me some guidance?Another question is, how can I start the Full backup of a VM that I have pulled as a variable via a form (a VM that I have never backed up before, that Commvault does not know yet)?

Hi all-I am using the 11.36.35 2024E environment and I’ve seen no big issues, AND I haven’t seen this message ever with my storage/cv environment, until a few days or so ago. I have 18 Exagrid mount paths that hold Commvault data and replicate to  our DR location.  The mount path that’s showing “ready to retire” is one in our DR site, and that status isn’t reflected on the primary mount path.  As far as I know, it’s not been enabled by anyone.  Any thoughts at all?
