Hello everyone.I hope you're well.I currently have Commvault version 10 R2 and want to upgrade to R3. Can you provide me with the steps to get Commvault version 10 R3 and where can I see the requirements for version 10 R3? 

Hello everyone.From the process manager you can see that all the services are active, only the Commvault Tomcat Service has not started. I can't start it from the Process Manager and neither manually from Windows Services. Hello, I have an error when trying to copy sessions from disk to tape, I get a message "does not need to be copied". I had previously copied this session to a tape and now I also need to copy it to a different tape.

Hi,We are going to refresh our Commserve server to a new hardware, but we are looking if its possible to deploy its DB on different SQL server. We searched Commvault documents but all deployment procedures found are to deploy DB on the same server.

Hi I was wondering how we disable Authentication for Agent InstallationIt shows as greyed out in commcell, I am aware this feature offers extra protection I would just like to disable it whilst we install multiple servers.

Is there any uninstaller or cleanup tool available for commvault windows clients.Many times, it is impossible to clean the traces which creates a lot of problems.

We have a customer that is asking about backing up NetIQ eDirectory, and if it is supported by Commvault. It seems as though it is, leveraging the OES File System Agent: https://documentation.commvault.com/2022e/expert/19892_backup_oes_file_system_idataagent.html Can you confirm this is the case? Also, the customer is asking if there is any documentation that explicitly describes support for NetIQ eDirectory, and on how to specifically configure backups and restores for it. We cannot seem to find any documentation on this. Would you be able to provide any info? Thanks!

Can we spin up Commvault components on bare metal instances in hyperscalers.Any documentation link or references would helpLeena   

HiWe use disk caching feature for our SQL and SAP Hana log backups. As destination we have a Hyperscale X cluster. Now I’m not sure what happens when I want to perform maintenance for a node or if one goes offline. Does anyone have experience with this?Thank you

We need to upgrade the SQL version on the webserver not sure on the steps to do so.

Does the commvault backup account need to be a domain administrator or a local administrator? or can we give a different lower permissions  

We would like to configure Commvault backup on IBM power systems which runs on AIX with SAP, DB2 and other application types hosted. The requirement is to run backups over SAN. Please share some thoughts or documentation in achieving this. My Current Understanding :Zone the luns associated to the IBM power systems to Commvault MA\Proxy Once they are zones , during backup configuration  Choose the SAN transport mode for backup or will it automatically choose to run on SAN transport mode when Auto is set for backup.

Hello Community, as @Onno van den Berg  mentioned in our slack channel, the command center and the webconsole looks very old / strange as you can see on the screenshots - the version is PLFR 2023 / MR23did another community persons see the same and think also the same ?   

I have used NetBackup for 10+ years.   Our organization is now pushing us to use CommVault for any new growth.  Has anyone out there come up with a “CommVault for NetBackup Administrators” document?  I have had zero exposure to CommVault until now.
