Hi Everyone,We have multiple commserve’s available, in one of the commserve when I tried to execute below SQL query to fetch the data it’s taking more than 7 mins to complete where environment is smaller in size. Which Commvault Jobs feed that log? I have some major events with the following message: Error occurred in Disk Media, Path [/cvault/hua/nfs/XXX_02/dat/Y66R1O_08.08.2022_13.02/CV_MAGNETIC/V_648334] [Check whether the path [/cvault/hua/nfs/XXX_02/dat/Y66R1O_08.08.2022_13.02/CV_MAGNETIC/V_648334] is accessible.]. In the past few months, “file activity anomaly alerts” have been exploding in my commvault warnings. Consider this thread a continuation of my previous thread here. I”m using a Plan to configure backup policies, etc.I would like to disable the option to do T-Log backups in particular associate. I’ve not been able to do this within the Plan. However, I’d prefer to use a Plan setting to Remove single client this. Am I missing something? 

I’ve been asked by the company lawyer to recover an email.  I can go into Compliance Search, specify the user in the FROM area, enter a search term and find the desired email.  So far so good.  Next I select Export to > PST > and enter a file name.  My question is:  Where does this file go?  It’s not in the Downloads folder of my local drive or anywhere on my local machine.  It’s not on the CommVault web server and not anywhere on the CommServer either.  So… any ideas?Ken

vmware client is configured and hyperscal x media agents are added as the proxy , we are using san mode and hyperscal x having visibility to datastore,our commserver or Media agent doesnt have intellisnap installednow we are setting up intellisnap for one subclient - array has added ,array config - added 3 hyperscal x media agent as access nodes -snapshot properties - we dont have any media agent in local host , do i need select remote snapshot MA and select hyperscal nodes ? in this case any additional package need to install . since media agent has visibility to datastore i belvi it ll be proxyless backup . but we having error . i have add the log

Hi,I have an environment with a CommServe and six Media Agents. Now, we have been asked to add a new environment to our existing CommServe. However, we are unable to establish a direct connection between the two environments. As a solution, we have decided to use two Media Agents from the existing six as proxy gateways.These two Media Agents have interfaces that reside in the existing environment, and we have connected another interface to the new environment. We have also configured network pairing and added the clients to the hosts file.The problem arises when we try to add a new client (SLES 11 + Oracle). The process fails with the attached error.Could anyone help us identify the missing configuration?

Hello,we’ve recently upgraded from 11.28 to 11.32 and a colleague who is responsible for Kubernetes told me, that since then the “Add cluster” Button is missing.Since it is still available for me I reckon it is a permission thing, but I didn’t find any permission which would fit.Does anyone know which permission he would need so he can add clusters?  Thank you!Kind Regards,Jakob

Why I can’t see when was the last day that the DDB was verified on?     Another question: why DDB name from the last Screenshot isn’t the same as “Storage Pool_11 [11]” ?   

We are using Commvault intelisnap to backup AWS EC2s, the current challenge is if a new LZ is created, We do not know in time and will miss some backups.Are there any configurations in Commvault can automatically discover this new LZ and send out the notification, so we can add the backup in time.

Need some help with a use case. We have separate help desk for different areas. The file share we are backing up has acl’s’ that allow each specific help desk access to their respect share\folders. I have different sub clients for each share and the corresponding help desk group assigned to the sub client security but i get an error stating the user does not have overwrite on restore unless I put it on the actual server security. Any thoughts would be helpful

Hello everyone,I have my CommVault installation configured to email me a Backup Job Summary Report every morning at 8:00 AM.  This has been working perfectly for the past 5 years.  Last week I upgraded from 11.30.80 to 11.32.35 and I still get the 8:00 AM emails but weirdly I’m not able to open them.  Outlook just seems to spin and spin even though the size of the email isn’t any larger than it was under 11.30.80.  [Edit] I can run the CommVault Console and generate a Backup Job Summary Report and it works perfectly fine.  It seems to be a problem specific to the emailed version. [/Edit]Is anyone else having issues with being unable to open emailed reports?Ken

I’ve created an export set in compliance search.  The job is failing on some items, and I want to be able to provide this to the end user so they can see what is not able to be retrieved.Downloading the export set works fine; I get a .zip file with the successfully restored items contained within.The option to download the manifest gives me another zip file that appears to be full of .xml files and a few images that I don’t know what to do with.What format is this manifest?  I need to be able to open it.

Hi,I have a Production CommCell where I did a hardware refresh from Win 2012 v11.24 to Win 2019 v11.30On the new VM I notice in add/remove programs that I have SQL 2012 components also installed. I also checked the CommCell in my Test Lab and its a brand new v11.28 install and it also has the same SQL 2012 components installed. As SQL 2012 is no longer supported can these be removed ? plus why are these SQL 2012 components getting installed. Thanks  

our sso no longer works and the current local CommVault password is not known is there a way of getting into the CommCell to reset the ad sso connect password so that it can authenticate with AD.e.g is there a way of resetting the AD password and account it uses to via command prompt or a way via the registry to get to connect to AD.

Hello, we are currently implementing M365 Backup on premise and I have some questions regarding the server components.I already found the other thread with a kinda similar topic and it helped, but not with everything. We are going to get new VMs as Access Nodes but for the index servers I was thinking about using our existing Media Agents. We are not planning on doing Context Indexing.So the question is: is that adviseable? We definitely have enough CPU/RAM Resources and our Index Cache SSDs have about 2TB free as well.Since most of our backups run during the night we could do the M365 ones during the day and so not cannibalize ressources, except for the disk. But there we can always add an additional one if mixing M365 and non-M365 Indexes is not advisable on the same disk.Also, how many nodes should a Index Server have? Regarding Access Nodes:We want to do Exchange, Teams, Sharpoint and One Drive. Do we need dedicated Access Nodes for each part? Or is it possible to do, let’s say, fo
