Is it possible to restore complete SharePoint Online sites to on-premise SharePoint server?

Is it possible to restore Exchange Online mailboxes to on-premise Exchange server?

Recently we added Qumulo to our environment and are backing it up.  What I have observed is that since then the throughput on all jobs have significantly decreased. (not sure if related, but who knows)  We are working with Support, but I wanted to see if anyone else may have ran into this issue with Qumulo.     Job ID 752435 (incremental backup) took over 11 hours to back up 154.41 GB.  Job ID 752486 (full backup) took 7 hours 13 minutes to back up 12.81 TB.The above jobs do not make sense to me considering their difference is size and the amount of time to back up.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you Community!

Hi All,I was wondering if having clients using index V1 and others using V2 can coexist on the same commvault environment ? I mean, does have any impact on the Index cache ? On the MA performance ? ...etc Any information or tip would be welcome.Regards.

We are Planning to deploy new CommCell console/COMM vault environment with Physical media agent (Cisco ucs240 M5) . This is the standalone media agent and will be directly connected to core switch instead of FI. Just want to know best practices for media server configuration and its network requirements.(IP ad VLAN). Can all things can be configured using the CIMC console on the servers etc. 

Hi Team a few questions on HSX especially on network connectivity and replicationcan we configure HSX to accept connection only on certain IP and ports? Can the replication between 2 HSX to be on 1 particular network port or it will have to be whole HSX cluster in the sense all the hsx nodes need to be able to communicate with each other across 2 Data centers? How does the replication between 2 HSX works and numbers of ports required etc 

Hi there,I would like to discuss quite a common trouble.I have removed several VMs from the backup - they have been removed from "Contents of subclient" under the subclient properties. However, the backup jobs binded with these VMs cannot be aged due to the basic cycle rule . Even though, the global rule "Ignore Cycles Retention On De-Configured Clients" is set to 1. In fact, the VMs are already deleted from the vcenter (last copy of VMs is retained in the other DC). Moreover, none of these VMs are seen in CV Browser tab. So, is there any option how to bypass the basic cycle retention law and let these backup jobs aged? Of course, I could manually delete these jobs from the tapes, which is a quit unrecommended approach, isnt? Neverthless, it is the last chance to free the tapes.

Hello,I’m preparing to update our production Commvault instance from SP16 to 11.24. I’ve reviewed the prerequisites and planning documentations listed here https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/2621_planning_feature_release_installations_01.html, however I’m struggling to find information around the SQL Server requirements and upgrade procedures. I happened to stumble across another article stating that 11.24 requires SQL Server 2019. I’m glad I saw that before the upgrade was actually done as our Commserve DB is currently running on SQL Server 2014. I had planned on installing the upgrade through the Commcell Console and pushing out to all relevant components in the specified order (Commserve, Media Agents, Clients). So my question now is, will the upgrade process through the Commcel

If the job is on 80 % thewn commvaul;t start over again with the job. If I look in the log the backupo is finished on oracle site. Commvault don't recieve the message that the job is done.It occurs after we do the upgrade to the new version 11.25.14.Any body the same issues?

Hi, I cannot expand the current disk library because the created disk is MBR and I have a limit of 2Tb, I was wondering if I can add a second disk library to the storage policy while keeping the first one?ThksDario

My customer setup a Postgresql Patroni cluster. Hello Community ,Did anyone implemented or have an idea how to implement offline backup copy in Commvault ?Backup is being written to commodity servers with local storage attached .The goal is that once backup job or aux copy  is completed , the target media agent should go offline and it should come online automatically during recovery request or next backup/aux copy schedule .By any workflow or cv feature can we control power ON or power DOWN of media agent ? What are the best practices or procedure to implement offline backup copy .Regards, Mohit

Hi Team, Hope all are doing good ! we have many SQL servers which has 500 DB’s each, is it some option in commvault to run on-demand backup for  only one DB out of 500 DB’s. Hi all,   I have COMM Vault Version 11.2 installed in OracleLinux7. From time to time, a few Oracle databases v. 11.2.0.4  are  UNKOWN in COMM Vault dialog box. I have checked the permissions of the user connection -C##DBAAS_BACKUP, granted as SYSDBA-, as well as the user catalog and RMAN connection. Both are find, but for an strange reason, sometimes my connection is UNKOWN. However, if I change C##DBAAS_BACKUP to SYS, the connection comes back to OPEN. This is a weird behavior, since I have mentioned before, this specific user has all the permissions required. Any idea?Regards,  Laura

We are struggling to commission an HPe MSL6480 which has 6 drives. Each drive has 2 FC ports which in turn are connected such that port 1 connects to Fabric A switch, and port 2 to Fabric B switch and the HSX hosts are connected respectively. I’ve build and installed the lin_tape control path failover driver. The OS sees a device for each path. Does multipath need to be configured if so, can someone provide the process as linux is not my strength? Has anyone else installed and configured an MSL6480 and used with Commvault?

I find that workflows become incomprehensible due to the logging of “starts” and “loops” when in reality the changes in phase don’t capture useful information.Is there a way to manually add and update phases in the workflow? Thanks.Chris.

I have a storage policy that has 7 days, 1 cycle retention with two copies:  Primary and DR.  It appears that none of the incremental backups are replicated to DR.  Does CommVault somehow treat incremental backups differently than full backups when it comes to replication to the DR storage?Second question:  I just ran a full backup of a small production server, verified that it’s only on the primary storage, did right-click on the storage policy > All tasks > Run Aux Copy > select Copy: 2-DASH-to-DR > OK > and get “No data needs to be copied”.  I don’t understand how I can have so many backups, both incremental and full, that show as only being on the primary storage.  Does anyone have any idea why my Aux Copy doesn’t seem to be working?Thanks in advance for any help.Ken
